I took delivery of this factory ordered Trans Am in June'76 and am the one and only owner. This is the last of the big block muscle cars with a 455/4 spd combo which was tough to get in '76. This car has 19,056 original miles and has spent most of it's life garaged and covered. This car has never seen salt, been driven in the rust belt, been smoked in or been involved in any collision. The car is original and in remarkable condition.The interior is in showroom condition. There are no wear spots on the carpet and the seats and dash are like new.This car has the original paint and bird decal and is in excellent condition. There has never been any major body work. There has only been minor touch up. Included is the original owners manual and front license plate bracket that has never been mounted.I've always used synthetic lubricants and I know of no mechanical problems. The only repair has been replacement of the heater core in '07. Belts and hose have been replaced once but it's probably time to go through these again. This car has the original Uniroyal tires. One of them is flat and unrepairable (see image) and the other 3 aren't much better. I've chosen to reduce the price and let the buyer decide on a tire replacement strategy. The original tires may be worth keeping if the car will be used for shows where originality is important.The car is being sold "As Is" and "Where Is" in the Portland, OR area.
