*****PLEASE NOTE: I am listing this car with NO RESERVE. You call me at (917) 749-4302 cell. Lets make these bids legit please. These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A VERY CLEAN LOOKING 1971 DODGE CHARGER SUPERBEE (REAL WM23 SUPERBEE, NOT A CLONE) WITH FACTORY 383 BIG BLOCK AND PISTOL GRIP FOUR SPEED DRESSED IN KILLER PLUM CRAZY PURPLE WITH SOME NICE OPTIONS! VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory Options: 1) Power steering 2) Manual brakes 3) Dual exhaust 4) Standard BUCKET interior 5) Hood pins 6) Bucket seats w/floor shift 7) 8 3/4" rear end 8) Manual 4 speed Transmission with Hurst Pistol Grip shifter 9) Superbee bulge hood and stripe treatment 10) Stock 14" Mopar Rally wheels wearing BF Goodrich radial tires 11) Stock AM radio 12) In dash clock 13) Reverse dash light package The car comes from Michigan where it has been stored indoors and collector owned for the last few years. The Superbee received an older restoration that included the current bodywork/paint and new interior sometime in the early-mid 1990s. The motor/transmission have been overhauled and dressed up with a variety of high performance name brand parts I will list below. Recently it also had a brand new exhaust system installed, as well as gas tank. Brakes were checked out and serviced and the car was tuned to perfection so you barely even need to pump the gas and it fires right up on the first try. This is a relatively unusual car in that it comes with the buckets and Pistol Grip 4 speed, since most of these were automatics back in 71-72. Interior is in VERY GOOD condition with minor general wear here and there. Seats are nice with minor wear. Carpet is clean and looks nearly new. Dash pad is like new. Door panels in good shape with minor wear. Good steering wheel (incorrect but solid shape). Headliner is nice. Overall a very nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood, the factory N-code 383ci/335hp motor has been overhauled and built up with a nice loopy racing camshaft, Edelbrock polished intake manifold, Holley 750cfm 4bbl. carburetor, Hooker competition headers into dual Flowmaster exhaust, MSD Pro Billet Distributor, performance plugs/wires, deep sump oil pan, finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner and a variety of other goodies. Transmission is a factory 4 speed with Hurst pistol grip shifter. Starts easily and sounds absolutely fantastic! . Good stock power overall and brakes stop VERY WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without worries. I've driven it mostly around town here and there, and a few times on the highway on the way to a local cruise night or car show. FLY IN AND DRIVE IT HOME ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY! Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up NICELY with good luster for a nice driver (NOT a showcar of course). Some minor imperfections here and there from use as you would expect like chips/touch-ups/minor scratches and the like. Minor blistering at top of passenger side where quarter meets the roof. Not working: radio, clock, perhaps a bulb or two could use replacing. Passenger side hood hinge area has a little rust. Trunk pan is nice and solid with some small holes here and there, not very noticeable. Underside is SOLID throughout with good frame rails and good floors, and has been undercoated in the last few years. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING VEHICLE TO OWN AND TO DRIVE, THAT LOOKS GREAT AND PERFORMS ALMOST LIKE A BRAND NEW CAR. NICELY OPTIONED AND A PISTOL GRIP 4 SPEED TO BOOT! VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A REAL 1971 DODGE SUPERBEE N-CODE 383 4 SPEED IN PLUM CRAZY THAT IS TURN-KEY AND WILL DRIVE ANYWHERE!. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
