It is that easy!!! You are bidding on a 1977 Volkswagen Van in great condition! This bus is a daily driver and has the following: Rebuilt 1.8L motor and transmission with about 50K miles. New EMPI dual carbs (sorry, no receipts). Recent tune-up, brakes and valve adjustment Near new tires Clear title in my name and new tags... Aug. 2013! 98% straight, rust free body!!! (There are a few door dings, a small dent by the wheel well and a small rust spot under the right tail light that is just on the surface and does not go all the way through. Original paint (No body damage surprises) Good original glass (I believe the windshield was replaced) The rear hatch and 2 rear side windows are tinted. It comes with both rear and center seats. (The rear and middle seats were removed for hauling stuff and just sat outside in the elements so it does need some interior work). CD/Stereo with flush mount speakers in the dash. (I had to unhook it because it was draining the battery. I can have it hooked back up and guarantee it is in good working order for the cost with a receipt at a stereo shop. I haven't done it yet because I don't have the extra funds for non-essentials right now) There has been sound deadening material installed throught the bus for a MUCH quieter ride! It has been lowered a few inches and handles better than stock height. It is smooth, straight cruising on the freeway at 65+ mph! (I will provide a picture of me cruising at 65+ mph on the freeway if you would like). All in all this is one of the most fun and easy VW Buses I have ever driven! You just get in and go! The ONLY reason I'm selling it is because I'm starting a new business this month and need all of the capital I can come up with. All shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will entertain all REASONABLE offers. As with most, if not all vehicles over 30 years old, there is no warranty.
