Vehicle Detail

I am selling my 1984 Pontiac Fiero GT 4cyl 2.5L 4 speed. Please read entire listing to appreciate this car. Yes this car runs and drives under its own power, the Clutch was replaced in 2009, the motor was rebuilt the same year. I was told the motor has about 7000 miles on it, and I have put 3300 on it since I've been driving it. The Fiero was averaging between 36-and some times 40MPG, which is a blessing because I drive 33 miles one way to work. I am getting rid of this car simply because I now have too many vehicles, Since I bought this I have also bought a Chevy Blazer, a Toyota Celica and I have 4 motorcycles, and one driver. I also have two son's which I can not fit in the Fiero because it only has two seats. The Good: Every thing appears to me when I drive it to be in good working order, it has a new battery and a new fuel pump, all the lights work, the radio works the power windows work*, the fuel gauge works, dome lights, dash lights, even the trunk lights. The car has new brakes, new radiator hoses, newer tires ( I would say with about 75-80% tread). Maybe the best part about this car is the fact I bought this from a retired mechanic who horded parts for this car, I have 4 huge boxes full of almost anything you could want or need for the car, it includes 3 computers that run the car, wiring harness, it looks like a re-build kit for the transmission, almost every sort of sensor that the car would ever need, many fuel pumps, fuel injectors, radiator fans and I think the motors that push the head lights up. I will even give the buyer a Haines repair manual with the car. Interior looks like its in great shape for its age, only one minor tear in the drivers side seat. So whats wrong with the car? The only thing I have noticed about the car is a slight minor dent towards the rear passenger side, you can clearly see in the pics, as most cars its age the paint looks to be fading, who knows it may come back to life with some polish, the passenger window is temprimental at times, some times it works great other times it does not work. The speedometer seems to be off, some times it works, some times it doesnt, I know the there is a replacement censor for it in the boxes of parts, but I never messed with it because I always had my GPS with me and I used it to tell me how fast I was going. The head liner was take out of the car, I have it to put back in, but have not fooled with it, the gentleman I bought the car from had a GT Kit for it off of an 87 and was going to put in a sun roof and never got around to it. I was told the mileage of the car is original, judging by the its condition I do no doubt it. I would feel very confident that the winning bidder would be able to drive this vehicle home from my house, I put a lot of miles on it with out having any trouble. If you would like to test drive this car before the auction ends, or have questions regarding this vehicle please email me at sean@bcarlsontruck.com, I will also check my add periodically to see if I have any emails. Thanks for looking On Jul-12-11 at 10:53:19 PDT, seller added the following information: This car is equiped with factory air conditioning, I have never used it but I was told that it was converted over to the R-34 freon.
