Vehicle Detail
For sale is a very nice 1976 Triumph TR6 with 71850 miles being driven on sunny days. The car is a real head turner with its original color (Topaz) and black interior. The car was painted approx. three years ago and looks great. The exhaust note from the Anza exhaust system has a good sound. Previous owner installed new Webber side draft carbs along with the necessary fuel regulator. The Webbers are trouble free and require no tinkering. The engine is smooth and efficient with this set up. The original carbs, air cleaner, and linkage goes with the car. The engine has proper oil pressure and does not smoke. The car has the tube shock conversion on the rear. Previous owner installed new rear wheel brake cylinders and brake shoes, new front brake pads, new rear differential mounts, new red-line tires and new tie rod ends. The rotors and drums are original. Chrome is original. No visible rust. No cracks in any of the glass. Previous owner also upgraded interior carpet, as well as installed new door panels and seat coverings. New foam was installed before the seat covers were installed. The top has no holes and plastic windows are in good clear shape. The top was installed prior to my ownership. Things I've done since I bought the car (only 1000 miles ago) include installing a new master brake cylinder, changing all fluids, plugs and wires, and replacing the rear bumper with an authentic part. Horn doesn't work. Windshield wiper switch is broken. This is what I consider a very nice driveable car; one that you can take out for a drive on nice days or head to the mountains. Everyone comments on how nice the car looks and sounds. Please keep in mind these opinions are mine and I'm not a professional car appraiser. This car is 35 years old and requires regular maintenance to keep it on the road. I have attached photos showing the car in many angles and details so you can see the condition. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy. Shipping arrangements can be made and I will be happy to assist in any way within reason. I want a $1000 deposit at the end of the auction via a wire transfer or cashier's check sent insured, certified courier. Balance to be paid by cash, cashier's check or bank check within 5 days. I have the title in South Carolina and it has no restrictions or liens. No warranty/as is. Car is available for inspection with appointment.
