Vehicle Detail
1967 Barracuda convertible. I got this car from what I believe to be the second owner of this car. From receipts included it appears the original owner had it until at least 2004. Car does need to be restored but in overall good condition. 99% of everything on the car is original, it still has the original wheels. No parts appear to have been taken off the car and this car has not been modified whatsoever. Frame rails are solid surface rust only. Does not need floor pans. Does need center part of trunk pan, only the well where spare goes, rest of trunk in very good shape. Will need 2 rear quarters. Will need small area on lower quarter on drivers side. Doors are solid. Front fenders can be used, but need some patching, hood and trunk lid good. Front and rear valence in good shape and both bumpers are extremely straight, just could use rechroming. Grill in good shape too. This car had a heavy undercoating when new, so the underside is in very good shape. Odometer shows 46,XXX miles, assume its actually 146,XXX miles. Factory options include 273 2BBL engine, manual brakes, power steering, 3 speed column shift manual transmission, sure-grip rear, power top, tinted glass, undercoating, vacuum gauge, 14" wheels, am radio, white interior, bucket seats w/headrests, white top, body is copper color. This car is all complete and no one started any restoration on it. Interior door panels and around the back seat good. Has fender tag, clear title. I have lots of documentation for the car, including the original window sticker, the certi-card, and the original owners manual, plus receipts dating back to the eighties. This car runs and drives very well. I would not hesitate to drive it just about anywhere. It was state inspected until last fall and I have had it in a barn since then. Everything works on this car, including all interior lights, the power top, even the original am radio. Please ask any questions through ebay and I will reply within 12 hours. I have included pictures of the areas that need the most work and some areas that do not any work at all. I have many more pics, but ebay only let me put 24 in the ad, so if you would like something specific photographed, just ask. You are welcome to come by and look at the car. It is in SE PA not far from the dealer that originally sold the car. The reserve price is low - I had planned to restore it as I drove it, but now have a new baby and will not have time to devote to it so I would like to sell it soon. Thanks for looking.
