For those of you who don't know who Nate is, he's one of the guys that you would talk to if you call or visit our store. Nate also recommends wearing the correct size helmet for safety while riding (see pics) This Gold Wing is actually in pretty nice condition. It does have some minor scratches and scuffs from normal riding conditions, but nothing major!The main thing that we noticed is that it needs a new battery. I did put one in it that works, but I wouldn't rely on it. The gas does seem to smell a bit, but the carbs are OK and the motor runs like most other 4 cylinders do. It is a slight possibility that the carbs could use a cleaning! I would drain the gas, fill it with good gas and run it with some ring free. That may be all it needs. I also noticed that the stereo wasn't working the best, but I didn't play around with all of the wires or buttons. One of the fog lights does not work. It's possible that it's just a bulb or loose wiring. The tires , bearings, brakes, fork seals, blinkers, handlebars, tank, seat, transmission, shaft, stator and steering head all checked out just fine. Please keep in mind that this bike is sold as is. We will not be doing a pre-delivery inspection on it and I will recommend doing a tune up or checking over everything before you ride this bike! I do believe that the bike will be just fine to drive off the lot, but checking everything is a safety factor for yourself! Here are the Specs for 1986 Honda GL DX Gold Wing, they should be similair.
