Vehicle Detail

*****PLEASE NOTE: I am listing this car with NO RESERVE. If you would like to make an offer please leave a phone number or call me at (917) 749-4302 cell. Lets make these bids legit please. These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GOOD LOOKING AND REAL HUGGER ORANGE 1969 CHEVY CAMARO CONVERTIBLE SS 350 (REAL X-11 CAR), WITH ADDED CROSS-RAM SETUP THAT RUNS/DRIVES WELL AND YOU CAN HOP IN AN DRIVE IT RIGHT NOW. SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Please note: cross-ram is NOT included, but available at an extra cost if buyer wants it. FACTORY OPTIONS: Power steering Power front DISC brakes Manual convertible top Standard black bucket seat interior 15" Rally wheels with radial tires Dual exhaust Super Sport package (hockey stripes, front and rear spoiler, emblems, appearance trim including rocker moldings, wheel well moldings, disc brakes) 10 bolt rear end Automatic transmission Vehicle has had an older repaint in the 80s and some minor aesthetic work within the last couple of years. It came from a collector out west that wanted to make a father/son project out of it, got started but didn't get a chance to get into it deeper or finish it. Newer dual exhaust system was installed and it's a fairly presentable driver right now. Runs/drives like a champ. Not much more I can say about it. Interior is in FAIR/GOOD condition with general wear here and there. Seats are nice with general minor wear (front ones are from a 68). Door panels in the front are newer with minor wear and older trim put back on, rear ones are fair. Newer carpet. Dash pad is good with no cracks but some sun warping. Console is fair but still in one piece and presentable. Sunvisors are worn and need replacing. Convertible top is in FAIR shape with some small slits by the sides but does not seem to leak. Overall a fairly presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies a stock 350ci/255hp 4bbl. motor with automatic transmission. I do have a complete CROSS-RAM setup with Edelbrock X-C8 aluminum intake manifold and two good Edelbrock 500cfm 4bbl. carburetors, along with linkages, bolts, fuel lines and air cleaners that is available to the winner of this auction for $1000. Motor has aluminum intake manifold, Holley 4bbl. double-pumper carburetor, full headers into dual exhaust, mild performance camshaft, 0.030 block overbore and minor internal mods. Starts easily and sounds great. Good stock power overall and brakes stop VERY WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without major worries, just tune it the way you want and you're ready to go. I've driven it mostly around town here and there and every once in a while on the highway on the way to a cruise night or local show, never on any long trips. Underneath the car has had frame connectors installed for better stability and less body flex. Floorboards seem fair/good throughout with a couple of patches here and there and some welding work by the rear pans that is holding up very well but is not stock panels. Trunk was patched up years ago and although solid and able to hold anything, it should be redone properly. The saltshakers are there, and rear shock towers seem pretty good as well with minor wear. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up FAIRLY with good luster for a presentable driver (NOT a showcar of course, and it appears a lot nicer in the pictures so please keep that in mind). Some general small scratches/chips/dents etc. as you would expect from driving along with minor fading overall and various weathering spots here and there. Rear inner wheel wells should be replaced/patched. Panel fit is not the greatest, especially where fenders meet doors, and passenger side door has a good deal of filler (hinge on that side should be replaced as well, if not both sides). (I do have a set of NEW door frames for both sides that can be purchased separately after auction if buyer wants them). Some cracks in paint by rear section near trunk lid and rear driver's side quarter where it meets the door. Front cowl area between dash pad and windshield has some rust holes and should be patched. Not working: radio (missing), may need a couple of bulbs replaced as needed. Missing: spare/jack, small vent covers for inner door jambs. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A VERY COOL CRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER RIGHT NOW. HOP IN AND DRIVE IT WITH THE TOP DOWN AND ENJOY THE WEATHER AND RESTORE IT DOWN THE LINE. IN MY OPINION IT SHOULD BE COMPLETELY RESTORED TO DO IT JUSTICE. THIS IS A GOOD OPTIONED, REAL X-11 AND REAL HUGGER ORANGE 1969 CAMARO SS 350 CONVERTIBLE WITH 56K MILES SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER THAT YOU CAN ENJOY WITH THE TOP DOWN OR KEEP AS PART OF YOUR CLASSIC CRUISER COLLECTION! DRIVE AS IS OR RESTORE IT AS YOU SEE FIT. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
