Vehicle Detail

I have relisted this car several times, and each time I do I lower the price. I'm trying to liquidate my car inventory. This will probably be the last time I relist this car. Very low Reserve. 4th of July Special. Up for grabs here is a 1976 Dodge Dart with a Slant Six, Super Six. When was the last time you saw a 76 Dart that wasn’t a Sport version? This car isn’t a 340 Dart Swinger I grant you, but it is rare in it’s own right. I’ve been in the Mopar hobby for over 20 years, and I have yet to see one like this, this year (Black on Black / Non Sport). I will tell you in great detail about this car, and all the money I have invested in it. I do have almost every receipt to prove the work was done. ‘ BODY, WHEELS, TIRES, ETC. : Wiper seal post kit / Sandblast, primer, & paint rims / roof rail seals, door seals, trunk seals, trunk mat, & insulation / Legendary Brand seat cover / Floor sound deading pad / Carpet / Dual exhaust with chrome tips & mini-turbo mufflers. The header is a Clifford Performance, bought new. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION: Engine completely rebuilt with all new internals on top and bottom. Head was shaved .80 & engine bored .30 over. A mild Erson Cam was installed. A Super Six intake & carb was purchased off of Ebay. New Hoses, belts, alternator, starter, water pump, voltage regulator, Accel coil, plugs, wires, etc. If it could be gotten new, it was. The air conditioner was serviced with all new gaskets & seals. The compressor was a remanufactured unit converted to 134. System was pressure checked, and held. The transmission was completely went through by a professional trans shop. The trans was cleaned, inspected, new seals placed, and torque converter pressure checked. A new filter and fluid was installed. DRIVETRAIN, SUSPESION, BRAKES, ETC.: New Shocks, U-Joints / Brakes pads & shoes, drums, rotors, bearings & seals, lines, hardware kits, master cylinder, calipers / Complete polygraphite front end kit from P.S.T. (Performance Suspension Technology) / The tires in the pictures are BF Goodrich. The ones that will be on the car are classic Radials, white raised letters, 235-60s. They actually are brand new, so they are better than what is in the pictures. The Chrysler Ralleys will be with the tires. WHAT THIS CAR NEEDS, IN MY OPINION: This car doesn't need anything if your gonna use it as a weekend cruiser, thats what I've been using it for. This is a very fun car to drive, and I love the waves and head turns I get while driving it. If your looking to make it showroom, then only a few more things need to be done. Obviously the car needs some minor rust repair, and a good paint job. Inside the interior is in decent shape, the fan/AC switch needs to be replaced. I have them bypassed with a toggle switch located under the dash. Carburetor needs to be cleaned, slight dead spot when you mash on it, but nothing major. I have a few extra parts that will come with the car if wanted, they include: extra hood, original carb & intake, linkages, air cleaner, and whatever else I can find to throw in. WHY I AM SELLING THIS CAR? Mainly because I need the money, plus I have too many cars. I invested way too much money in this car thinking I was going to keep it. I ended up finding another car, and this one got pushed aside. I have invested almost $10,000 dollars in this car, and have almost every receipt to prove the work or parts are on it. Most of the parts are new or remanufactured. The suppliers include: O’Reileys, Autozone, Advanced Auto, Legendary Interiors, Year One, The Paddock, JC Whitney, Ebay, Clifford Performance, Summit, and Dantes Parts. This car is very drivable, and I would feel comfortable driving it any distance without any problems. My brother and I drove it to the Mopar Nationals 2 years ago with no problems (5 hour trip one way). I drive it on a weekly basis, and love it. Drove it this past Sunday ( 7-3-11), with the air on. Since investing all of the new parts in this car it has had less than 3000 miles put on it, so its practically brand new. Please, only serious inquiries. If you want additional pictures please email me, and I will send any portion you would like to see. I will be posting additional pictures later. I have this car listed at other sites as well, and locally. If sold there first then the ebay listing will be cancelled. P.S.: I will be going to the Mopar Nationals in Columbus Ohio this August. For an additional gas fee I could possibly deliver the car there, but no promises yet cause I'm unsure if I am off from work yet. The car would need to be paid in full before. This could be discussed further in detail if you are serious about buying the car. Feel free to text or call me with questions at (270) 230-2690. If no answer leave a message and I will return your call. Call anytime, but preferably after 10 a.m. eastern time. Thanks for viewing.
