I have seen a lot of VWs listed but, not many with the "Moon-Roof". This appears to be a fairly unique vehicle. It has been in a carport since 1972. My son aired the tires up and we loaded it on the trailer to take home from my boyhood home & the tires are still up. I don't know when this car last ran but, I would assume someone with some knowledge of VW Beetles would not have much trouble getting it to fire-up. It has some light surface rust but, I did not see much, if any, rusted-through places. Get it fired-up, have someone pop a paint-job on it & it would be a pretty cool addition to your collection. My dad passed last year and I am trying to sell some of his collection. This would be a truly unique vehicle for someone to own.
