AFITHBAJTDOI@spammotel.com HAPPY BIDDING & GOOD LUCK! 1972 Ford Mustang CoupeVin: 2F01F227019 NO RESERVE! Description: You are bidding on: a 1972 Ford Mustang Hardtop CoupeUp for your consideration is a 1972 Ford Mustang Hardtop Couple - a VERY nice car! What a gem of a car! Inside and out, this Mustang speaks for itself. It is very obvious that this car was adored and cared for. Originally born in Michigan, it spent most of its life in Texas, before going to Arkansas and Missouri. There is a BUNCH of documentation in the glove box that leads me to believe that the mileage on the odometer is original, but I will not guarantee that. All history and documentation will stay with the car. Here are the specs: Year: 1972 Make: Ford Model: Mustang Trim: Hardtop Coupe Engine: 302 ci (2 bbl) Transmission: Automatic Exterior Color: Old Gold Interior Color: Gold Odometer Reading: 81066 (miles exempt due to age) This car is equipped with A/C (blows COLD) and power steering. The factory radio has been replaced with an aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette, which works, but for some reason is not set to retain the stations. Every time the vehicle is shut off, the stereo goes back to 88.1 and the time is reset to 12:00. Probably an easy fix, and if I were keeping the car, I would just put the factory radio back in. Everything else I see on the car is factory or vintage for this model. This car is completely solid - mechanically and aesthetically. I drove this car home from Branson, Missouri -- 4.5 hours at 70-75 mph without missing a hoofbeat! Tires are very near new. A brand new fuel pump was installed May 2011. The ONLY defect I can find, besides the replacement of the factory radio is the small rust spot just under the hood (see photo). This is the ONLY spot of rust that I see. The undercarriage (floor pans, trunk pan, frame rails, etc) are solid, clean and dry. Here is the breakdown for the VIN code (courtesy of decodethis.com): 2: 1972 Model F: Manufactured in Dearborn, MI (YaY! a car made in the USA!) 01: Body style is HARDTOP F: Engine is V8 302 ci 2V 227019: Production number of this specific vehicle on production line at factory Please understand that in NO WAY am I trying to hide anything -- if you want to know ANYTHING about this car or any other vehicle I have, just ask. Feel free to come look at them -- take them to a local mechanic and have them checked out. If it's not what you want, don't buy it! My word is my guarantee. I have been in business in the same town since 1972 and have built a reputation on my integrity and honesty. If I know something about a car, I will tell you. Obviously, it is impossible for me to know the exact history on every vehicle. Therefore, it is the buyer's responsibility to thoroughly check out the car, the history report and make an informed decision from that information. This vehicle is being offered through Leonard's Used Cars & Trucks in Ottawa, KS - a licensed used automobile dealer in Kansas. You will be responsible for applicable title, sales tax and licensing fees. If you have questions about this car, please contact Leonard Cheasbro at 785-229-9517 between the hours of 8 AM-9PM Central Time. Or, email at 1leo@creativeflaridesign.com A deposit will occur through PayPal - $500.00 of the final purchase price is due at auction end and the remaining balance in hand when the winning bidder picks up the car.
