I purchased this car last year in the Sacramento, CA, area and hauled it up to WA in an enclosed car hauler. A previous owner completed a partial restoration in the mid-70s with an engine rebuild and some unprofessional cosmetic repairs. In about 1991, the owner planned a complete restoration but got distracted and never finished. He pulled the engine and left it in the garage. The car and engine sat undisturbed in his garage for almost 20 years. I purchased the car with the intent of completing the restoration but the realization set in that I don’t have the time, space or motivation to do it. The engine is currently not in the car and I have no details about its condition. The only parts that I know are missing are the radiator, a couple of light lenses and the keys, which were lost in the mail. The rest of the major components are boxed (carburetors, distributer, valve covers, etc.). The only place where there is significant rust is in the very center of the spare tire wheel well where water appears to have sat (see photo). The pin holding the spare tire broke loose. The rest of the body appears to be in fairly good shape for a car over 50 years old. All of the chrome trim is with the car. There is one small 6” dent in the right rear fender (see photo). I have the service manuals which I will sell separately, if desired. The 20+ year old tires are on the car. Car has Washington title. $500 non-refundable deposit is expected within 48 hours, with the balance to be paid within 5 days. The car is to be removed within 30 days. All payment must be made before the car leaves the premises. The car must be picked up with a car hauler. Car rolls, is currently garaged and assistance can be given in loading.
