1989 DODGE DAKOTA SWEPTLINE SPORT CONVERTIBLE PICKUP Re-listed from last week due to pictures of my auction not opening to full screen for better viewing of details and the only to way to correct was to stop the auction and re-list. I apologize to the many watchers and bidders. Only factory convertible pickup built since Ford Model “T.“ Produced by Dodge in 1989 and 1990. This truck is very rare and will continue to increase in value. Truck is in amazing great original condition, but is 22 years old, with only minor cosmetic defects. Shallow dent in right rear fender panel behind wheel well; a few other small dings and dents, but barely noticeable. Cracked molding on left headlight and parking light. Small cracks on dash. One small hubcap missing. Top is in fair condition, and may be original. Rear window is very clear as shown in view from behind looking through the back window and the windshield. Truck has not been detailed or had body work done; all cosmetic flaws are original and have not been touched up or repaired. Strong 3.9 V6 engine and automatic transmission. Valve job and complete transmission rebuild within last two years. New steering rack and muffler in last 2 years. Brand new Firestone white-letter tires; less than 250 miles. Power windows, door locks, am/fm w/cassette. Air conditioner works great, just recently serviced, including flushing system and new dryer (filter). Bed liner and chrome bed rails. Never been exposed to a rust-causing environment. No rust anywhere on this Dakota, ever. Look at photo of rear axle; trucks driven in snow and salt have rusty undercarriage. Runs smoothly and drives great. 127,800 miles. Clear Tennessee title; purchased new in Chattanooga, TN. and only driven locally. Owned by the original family until 2008 and then sold to a neighbor.
