Classic 1959 W200 Dodge Power Giant Big Window Short Bed Dually 3/4 Ton 4X4 Truck No Reserve! You are admiring a classic 1959 W200 true Dodge Power Giant big window option dually 3/4 ton truck. Offere at a No Reserve! What you bid is what you pay. If you are looking at this particular auction you probably know it's a pretty darn rare truck to say the least. BTW 1957-1960 Power Giant D200 truck is quite rare indeed as they only made 86 of these W-200 units in 1959 according to a recent google seach. Last one of these sold for almost 15K online & it was NOT original in any way & also a less desireable small window model. You can register this rare Dodge classic easily online @ http://townwagon.com/pgpws/index.htm Please feel free to come by & fully inspect this OG Power Giant unit before you bid. More detailed picture link @ http://s694.photobucket.com/albums/vv306/sweetrobert_029/1959%20dodge%20w200/ We also welcome your mechanic to inspect & drive this 1959 Power Giant before you bid. Unit is presently located in the high desert of Joshua Tree, California if you want to see & hear it in person before you bid. This unit runs, shifts, steers, & stops surprisingly good for it's age so it is drivable presently. No, I would not recommend driving it 300-500 miles home as tires are obviously dry from being in the high desert. All I did to this unit mechanically was to run some Seafoam through the Carter carburator to clean out the fuel system. That's it. She fires up just fine. Features: Replaced updated instrument cluster pictured. Original instrument cluster is included. Original 318 A wide block polyspherical engine with canted valves. Four (4) speed NP 420 manual transmission. I assume it has a stock Dana 44 divorced transfer case with Warn hubs? Unit appears to have a one (1) ton Dana 70? dually axel with Positrac which is pretty cool & pictured. Including six (6) of those hard to find 16" inch one (1) ton type six bolt rims pictured. Body looks fairly decent for it's 51 years of age pictured. NO rust issues whatsoever on this classic truck which is quite uncommon for these 51 year old old Mopars. Please provide your email address for some decent detailed under carriage & rocker panel pictures. Fresh Dupont vintage Mopar seafoam greene paint that looks thin in some places. Original big window is 100% perfect. As you may know 1957-1960 big windows are hard to find in perfect shape. Big rear glass window unit is cased in a specially made wood box with padded bubble wrap pictured & included with it's purchase. Safelite will install the big window for around $60.00 + with rubber stripping. BTW I will include the OG stock rubber stripping. Fresh Douglas Fir 2X6 flat bed with redwood coloured stain. FYI we made round steel slot posts for both a hay guard & stake bed if you want to upgrade. Two (2) nice 20 gallon? saddle tanks. Both side windows are cracked which is quite common for these old Mopars & will both need replacement. These units are both flat glass so it should be an easy rather inexpensive replacement. PTO winch? was removed long before we received it. I guess you can't have everything these days. Please note unit will need 16" inch tires all around sooner or later; Although these oldies still hold air presently. Steering wheel is a small model NOT original to truck & either are those cool plaid bucket seats pictured; Although, you probably know that already. Steering bearings will probably need some grease in my opinion; Although, she steers fine presently. Please check out my classic Ford F100 4X4 highboy with a 351 Cleveland on my other auction if you are interested. This 1959 Dodge Power Giant truck presently has a current Non Op pink slip from original owner & I can put it in my name on it for additional cost or send you signed California pink slip with bill of sale from original owner. It's your call. I might be able to transport the truck locally or to your shipper for $3.00 three dollars a loaded mile. Please note the following: You must paypal us $500.00 deposit within 72 hours (3) days of auction close. No paypal payments will be accepted for remainer of payment. They make enough money already.
