Hi, I purchased this beautiful car at about 55,000 miles 5 years ago, I am the 2nd owner. I am selling because I am moving out of state. This never smoked in, rust free southern CA car is one of the nicest Trans Am on the road. I’ve only used premium gas and Mobil One fully synthetic motor oil, same as the first owner. Since owning it I used it as a weekend car, not a daily driver, and put about 30,000 miles more on it. I've always kept it garaged, did all routine maintenance work at GM dealership. I haven't had a single problem with it. The only major thing I have done is to get the Vredestein tires 275/40 98Y high speed performance at the price of $1000 about 12,000 miles ago (70% tread left on them). These great European tires together with the costume traction control, gives great wet weather handling. Most of the upgrades where done by the first owner of this car who was in love with it just as much as me :-) Below I will put his description of what was done before I got it: The car is a California, never smoked in and always garaged or under a car cover as you can see by how glossy the paint is. Never been in an accident. I will list out the standard and factory options as well as the upgrades to the car, only the BEST for this car. It is Clear title. The car has been maintained at the GM Dealer since new. The Air Conditioning blows Ice Cold. I have the window sticker (laminated) and owners manual. Every 3000 miles the GM oil filter was changed and I always used Mobile One synthetic, done at the dealer. In 2002 & 2003 it was a Car Show winner. Please read the list of options and upgrades below. For those seeking a completely stock car, this can be done at minimal cost using a couple factory parts & tune, but why would you :) Standard Equipment • LS1 5.7 Engine (325HP/350TQ, factory flywheel rating) • 4-Speed 4L60E Automatic • 10 Speaker Monsoon Stereo • Remote keyless entry/trunk • Steering wheel stereo controls • 6 way power drivers seat • 4 Wheel anti lock Disc Brakes • Areo Appearance package w/fog lamps • Daytime driving lights Optional Equipment • Ram Air Package ($3,150) • 12 Compact Disc Changer Trunk Mount ($595) • Cassette Player in dash • Traction Control ($450) • Rear Performance Axle 3.23 ratio ($300) • Electric Lumbar Seats Upgrades and Aftermarket Extras • Baer Eradispeed front Cross drill & slotted Rotors ($500- I was tired of the Factory rotors warping, so I bought the best with a lifetime guarentee not to warp) • Hotchkis Subframe Connectors ($300- tighten up the suspension since I have T-Tops) • Hotchkis Polished Aluminum Strut tower Brace ($325- Helps tighten the front and great for engine bay appearance) • Custom Embroidered Headrests ($200- I wanted a nice custom look) • Magnaflow Exhaust and Tips ($500- I used the original WS6 exhaust pipes with the magnaflow and tips. Great look, sound and performance without a loud cabin drone. Sounds awesome outside & inside the car) • Polished Aluminum Caps ( $150- For engine dress up I put Polished Aluminum Caps, chrome bolts and Corvette fuel rail covers) • Direct Flow Lid and K&N filter ($175- This alone gained 10-15 more HP. I still have the factory GM Air lid) • Ported Throttle Body ($169- This was done professionally at Race-Prep when I did the Custom Dyno Tune, see below) • Custom Dyno Chassis Tune ($400- The car was Dyno Tuned at Race-Prep in Southern California near Palm Springs, 2007). The Dyno results show: 321 HP and 340 TQ to the REAR WHEELS. That is about 360 HP and 381 LBS of TORQUE using the Factory Ratings !! I'm sure there are other items I missed, but you have to see & drive the car to appreciate its value. It will be one of the cleanest and well maintained WS6 cars you will see. Every electronic button works on the car from radio to windows, locks to trunk release, to dome lights and signal lights. Trying to describe this car as honestly as I can I will list the few minor cosmetic imperfections. The car’s exterior is in great shape except it has some minor gravel chips on the nose and hood, and minor peeling on the left side of hood, both shown in pictures. There is also a light scratch on the right side of hood, shown in the picture. There are two minor dents which don’t show in the pictures because of their small size. When you arrive you will see one door ding on driver’s side above the rear wheel near the gas cap, and another on the passenger side right next to the rear wheel. The paint is still in excellent condition as I Zaino polished the car nearly every other week. The interior is perfect except for the edge of driver’s seat, a minor material tear from me getting in & out of the car, shown in the picture. There are two cracks on each of the doors upper panels shown in the pictures (very common Trans Am problem). The sunvisors also have some fading, as well as the upper cloth material, near the T-top, has some wear and tear due to me loving to drive the car with the T-Tops off. Please do not bid on this auction unless you are serious about owning this vehicle. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to eBay, and negative feedback posted. There is a lean on the vehicle from my financing credit union, for a very small amount (less than $2000).
