I've had to relist this car a couple times. One of the previous buyers tried to scam me, and another refused to pay because the car has a Colorado title. Please read the following before bidding: The only payment I will accept is cash or a certified check from a bank. Sorry, but no money orders. The last buyer tried to scam me with a money order. Local pick up only. I won't ship the car, and I won't talk to any shipper for you. Reserve is set at $1000 The car is located in Richmond, IN, but the title is from Colorado (which is where I bought the car). I live in Colorado, so I can't be there for the actual transaction. Instead, my brother will be there. Please, only bid if you're an honest bidder. For sale is a 1987 Nissan 300ZX Coupe. It is rear wheel drive, and still is very sporty. It used to be a real looker, and still could be, except for some paint issues, which are listed below. I am the 3rd owner of this car, and bought it in Colorado in 2009. In 2010 it was driven from Colorado to Indiana, and made the trip with no issues. This car was my daily driver for most of 2009, and worked like a dream. In 2010 the Z sat in a driveway, and was started up about once a week and taken around the block. New tires were bought in 2009, but are still in very good condition. This is a 2 seater only. No back seats. I'm selling this car because I've moved on to something newer and no longer need it. As is, it is a very capable daily driver that has some pretty bad paint issues. With a new paint job, however, it would be a beautiful car. In fact, even now it still shows glimpses of it's beauty. Finally, when you see this car, it's obviously straight out of the 1980's. This could be good or bad for you, depending on what you like. Having said that, it is a very comfortable car to use on a daily basis. Features: manual transmission, T-Tops, 3.0L V6 The Good: Body is free of rust. Car shifts and drives with no issues. The headlights both pop up. The T-Tops DO NOT leak. Awesome 1980's look (if you like that kind of thing). Radio works fine. Parking brake has never failed me. Still feels very sporty. No title issues (I did have to have a duplicate title issued, however, because I couldn't find the original after a move). The Bad: There is a dent over the right rear tire. The cover that closes over the fuel cap will not stay closed. The back-up lights do not work. The A/C doesn't work (you should probably drive it around with the windows down anyway). The lever that opens up the rear hatch doesn't work (it just doesn't pop the rear hatch up. If you hold the lever, someone can open it from the back. Alternatively, you can use the key to open the back hatch). The paint sealant is peeling off slightly on the top near the T-Tops, and is peeling off badly on the hood (see pictures...the hood looks bad, but is purely cosmetic). The cassette tape player doesn't work (I don't own any tapes, so this wasn't an issue). Shifting into reverse works fine, but is clunky. There are stains on the floormats (there are no leaks into the car, so I think it is just from dirt and stuff on people's shoes). One of the previous owners put a "turbo" sticker under the 300ZX logo on the back (see picture), although this car does NOT have a turbo.
