First I am not a mechanic or body shop man so my description is only my opnion witch my wife says is not worth the hot air it was made with.What I have here is a 1959 chevy el camino in poor but restorable condition as the picture will show. Starting at the top the roof is rusty I didn"t see any rust holes but really rusty as picture will show the chrome is perfect. Where the roof meets the post there is rust holes above back glass on corners.The passenger window and back glass are good the rest need replaced.Going inside the dash is peeling paint but good no extra holes looks factory. Steering column looks like it had a three speed on it plus no auto indacater. Floor pan front and back need replaced back window metal shelf rusted through there is a bench seat that came with it don"t know if its orignal.Drivers door looks orignal and solid little rust on bottom where frame meets door skin, passager door looks orignal rust on bottom is bad skin is completely seperated away from door frame on bottom. The rocker panels look good. Starting in the front the grill and all the chrome looks good it has a rare bumper guard which is nice there is a little raise on the top lip where someone put a chain and pulled on it not to bad. Looking at the body there is rust around the head lights behind the chrome and small rust holes the front fenders and door have rust holes not to bad I"ve seen alot worse,now to the bed the floor has been covered with metal and needs replaced both quarter panels have been worked on and need it again frame looks rusty butt no holes tailgate has a few rust holes in it. I have a v-8 chevy motor for it SB don"t know a thing about it it has an automatic trans.in it I belive I have all the chrome and it is in good shape the two front fender pieces of chrome have rivet in them at the point I believe that is the only thing wrong with the chrome other than the lip where the chain was. It is for sale only on e-bay to the highest bidder at the end of auction.
