Vehicle Detail

Custom 1941 Ford Roadster. First things first. I bought the car with the roof already cut off, so dont be mad at me. Everything was reinforced with metal to make this a convertible. Its, chopped, channeled, suicidal, frenched, shaved, and whatever else you wanna call it. The doors are shaved and have auto poppers with Autoloc bearclaw latches holding the suicide doors shut. The trunk is also shaved and opens by remote. There is no rust anywhere on this car. The floors are all new and custom built to fit the body lower on the original frame. Rockers and inner door jambs are also custom made from metal. This car has so much custom work done, its hard to list all of it. The pics should explain most of it. The interior is custom built. Very nice, but not exactly perfect. The stereo system is Pioneer head unit, (4) Pioneer speakers, (2) 8" subwoofers, powered by a 400 watt amp. Sounds great. The dash is smoothed out. All guages are new and wired up. The car has a new 18 circuit wire harness that is connected to almost everything except the engine. All lights work. There is a 10 ngallon fuel cell mounted in the trunk that is not plumbed to the engine. Headlights are frenched in with a hagan kit. The car has beautiful turqouise paint with faded white pearl ghost flames on the hood and fenders. The complete underside of the car is also freshly painted. The body is mounted to the original frame which has been blasted and painted. The four tires are new and mounted to chrome rims that have a little rust pitting on them. All four hubcaps are new. Now, the frame and engine. The car has an original flathead V-8 with a 3spd manual tranny installed for mock-up purposes. As far as I know, the engine is good, but missing pistons and connecting rods, and some various external parts, but should be a good candidate for rebuild. There is a radiator installed for whichever engine you choose. Wired for an electric fan. Plenty of room for a condensor if you want one. The frame has new bushings and some new suspension parts, but is missing shocks, drag ling, steering box, and brakes. I am leaving that open to the buyers personal preferences. I was going to convert it to four disc brakes, mustang 2 front end, and probably a smallblock chevy powerplant. Its ready for whichever way anyone wants to finish it. The steering column in the car is from a later model ford, but not mounted permanent, as an aftermarket would probably be a better choice. Front seats were just custom made for this car, but not bolted to the floor until seat position is determined by new owner. The windsheild is not installed or included at the moment, but I will update the auction if I get that done before it ends. I have a few more parts and small things I am going to complete and I will update the auction as I finish them. One is a lisence plate bracket. There is a custom made BLUE OX tow bar installed on the car that is not included in the auction, but available seperately. I also have a convertible top setup from a later model mustang that can be purchased seperatly if someone wants to add a convertible top to the car. This is a very nice car that I have spent a lot of money and a lot more time getting to this condition. If you have any questions, or would like to stop by and take a look, call me at 570-299-0217. The car is in Umatilla FL 32784. It is also for sale locally, so I do reserve the right to end this auction early. Check with your wife, your mom, or whoever you need to before you bid on this car. Dont bid without emailing or calling if your feedback is less than 5 or I will cancel your bid. The car will need to be towed. I can help with loading if you use a transporter. Thanks and good luck. This is the third listing. It ended last with a cancelled bid. NO RESERVE. Winner takes it home. Since the last listing I have installed a new battery tray and battery under the hood and a lisence plate bracket under the decklid. I have a clear FL title in hand and ready to go.
