1998 Range Rover 4.6 HSE. White with Black Leather only 75,700 pampered miles since new. Extremely clean - look at the pictures. Here is a wonderful opportunity to buy one of the nicest P38a (95-02) Range Rovers on the market. It is in incredible condition inside and out. If you are looking at this truck because of its flashy looks and fancy name please do not call me - go buy an Escalade instead. If you are a Land Rover enthusiast who appreciates these vehicles and knows how difficult it is to find a properly maintained Rover, you should seriously consider this one. I purchased this truck last year from California and had it shipped here to Indiana. I looked long and hard for the best P38 Range Rover I could find and chose this truck. I have been a lifelong Land Rover fanatic and know how to care for these vehicles and what to look out for. This truck has had nothing but the best. It appears mostly stock but has a few tasteful upgrades. I have put thousands of dollars into this HSE in the past year and have a ton of records to show for it. Just a brief list: All new Arnott Generation 3 Airbags. This is the best upgrade you can do to a Rover. These bags were designed for a smoother ride, more travel and a lifetime warranty! New Magnaflow Stainless exhaust system with a lifetime warranty. I originally found this to be too loud so added an additional Magnaflow muffler on the back, it sounds great now (a little more aggressive than stock, but not much) The head gaskets were replaced and the heads reworked with new valve guides and more. ($2,000+ from a very reputable Rover mechanic)All new intake manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets, plenum seal, plenum filter, cabin filters....New plugs and plug wires.All new cooling hoses and thermostat.Nice set of Bridgestone Run-Flat tires. New brakes last summer New headliner last summerI sent the radio to Roverville Radio to get cleaned, inspected and had an Aux music input installed. This retains full functionality of the original stereo and CD changer but allows you to play your Ipod or Mp3 in stereo quality. (look in the pics for small input to the right of seek button on radio head)The list goes on...In addition to all of this I am sure you are aware of the seemingly endless list of luxury, safety and off-road features that came standard with the HSE Range Rovers. Be very careful and do your homework when buying a used Rover. There is a lot of neglected junk out there. These vehicles require regular maintenance by knowledgeable owners/mechanics, the ones that have been neglected are basket cases and will cost a fortune to return them to acceptable running condition. I would be more than happy to send you a complete list of upgrades and maintenance that has been performed recently on this truck - you will be shocked. Also, do not buy a Rover that has had a coil spring conversion. The airbag system is one of the best features and it is less complex than most people think. Again, these airbags have a lifetime warranty from Arnott. I rebuilt the air compressor last year so it works like new and moves the truck up and down quickly, as it is supposed to. AutoCheck shows this as a 5 owner vehicle but I am actually the third owner. The title changed a couple of times because of the original owner buying it from a lease then from a move. This is an incredible machine and one of the most comfortable vehicles on the road. I know this truck inside and out, if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. It is not perfect (I'm very picky) but I am confident that the buyer will not be disappointed. There are plenty of cheaper P38 Range Rovers on the market, but you will have a very hard time finding a better one. Please do not waste my time or yours with low ball offers. This truck is worth every penny of the asking price and if you buy a cheaper Rover you will spend far more than this to make it as nice as mine.
