1979 Jeep CJ7 Strong 304 V8, 3 speed manual, Dana 30 front/AMC20 rear, good 31x10.50R15LT tires, solid steel Charcoal Gray body, tough trail jeep, daily driver. Appears to have a small lift 3-4". Fantastic Trail Jeep never left me stranded in the woods. The engine does appear to have been rebuilt at some point in its life as it is painted orange. The carburetor has been rebuilt and has a new triple core aluminum radiator, electric fuel pump, and Holley fuel pressure regulator installed. New soft top/soft doors that take apart to form half doors are included. Interior has been coated in a rubberized coating similar to Rhino-lining. The rear axle has a Moser one piece axle upgrade. Transmission shifts smooth, transfer case is a bit stiff, but I was planning on installing a dual shift lever system to clear that up; never got to, but highly recommended. The front axle is stripped, but new parts are included. The JEEP runs great in 4X2 due to the new Warn Premium lockout hubs. It is highly recommended that you contact me and check it out in person prior to bidding. Jeep is easily drivable due to the lockout hubs. -Body is not perfect, but is NOT rusted through in any places. Good floor panels and solid side panels. The right rear appears to have been damaged, bad body work, but can easily be fixed. Check out the pics. Tail gate folds down as it should with NO RUST around the hinges or trunk area. -Fuel gauge does not work. Suspected fuel sending unit...new parts included. Recommend dropping tank, new hoses and filters included. -Missing numerous dash knobs and gadgets. It's like a blank slate awaiting your personal touch.
