long story short.....I have taken meticulous care of this car since I bought it on ebay about 2 1/2 years ago. Love it and hate that i have to take a loss on it. driving to work, oil cooler hose busted, and as i was pulling over, the engine siezed. needs a new engine, plain and simple. other than that, the car is in excellent shape inside and out, ran like a beast and had a lot of stuff replaced and fixed, as needed, and for improvement. these things are listed below. hate to see her go, but she has to and i hope she makes the new owner proud..... all items listed were done at volvo dealer, volvo trained mechanic, firestone. inner and outer tie rods, turbo rebuilt (2 yrs ago) here in Phoenix, AZ, valve cover gaskets (1 yr ago), timing belt (2 yrs ago), front control arms, bridgestone G019 treads (firestone, and rotated every 5000 miles), tune up parts (just over a year ago, engine mounts (1 yr), new bilstein heavy duty performance struts and performance lowering springs (with 8 months), everything on this car works, light bulbs were replaced as soon as they burned out, any minor detail was dealt with immediately, waxed every 4 months (its hot as hell out her in the desert ya know), oil changes every 5k (was done 1 week before the oil hose busted) feel my pain now?? best damn car ive ever owned and a new engine would be too much for me at this point, so i have to take the loss. given allt he upgrades and money ive put into this car in the last 2 years, i am asking a fair and reasonable price. i will take the best offer, and you will be responsible for pick up. there are engines on ebay for $500+ dollars that will fit this car. The VIN 6th and 7th digits for the engine are 53.
