Vehicle Detail
*** EBAY IS MAKING ME LIST THIS AS SALVAGE DUE TO AUTOCHECK TITLE HISTORY--- I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE WITH A CLEAN FL TITLE, AND AS YOU CAN SEE, I TOOK A PICTURE OF THE TITLE AND THAT WILL BE SIGNED OVER TO YOU, FOR ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS PLEASE EMAIL ME *** Please read entire description and email me to discuss further. I have included a variety of pictures below, and would be happy to take whatever additional photos you would like. I would like to do most of the negotiation process over phone and email. All will be disclosed. If buyer would like to purchase; a test drive can be arranged prior to the sale. I work a lot, and do not have time to entertain constant visits. I have owned this Jeep for 4 years and it been my daily driver for the past 3 years. I am looking to sell, as I purchased a another vehicle and just do not have room for it anymore. This car starts and runs beautifully. Oil changes have been performed regularly with 30 weight oil, and this car has been babied since all of its replacements. This Jeep is a classic and is almost fully restored. Vehicle Shows 137XXX miles on it, I believe the speedo to be the original, but do not have proof… I have receipts for the following repairs – (work paid for) • Replaced Engine with used Engine ( in 2008) – used engine was speculated to have 109k miles on it… Engine was power washed, painted and checked to be in full running order – it came with (new water pump, new carburetor, new fuel pump, new water pump, new valve cover, new valve cover gasket.) • Replaced Tranny from same vehicle at same time – Used tranny was speculated to have 109k miles on it… (New clutch at same time) • Replaced entire brake system (calipers, shoes, pad, lines, master cyl) • Replaced Steering box, and rod(used) – former steering box was welded to frame- weird.• Had jeep rewired at time of full engine/tranny replacement. • Had frame welded to reinforce by driver door. Work done myself over the past two years – • Replaced exhaust system from manifold back (no catalytic converter and added cherry bomb muffler) • Re-replaced entire cooling system including water pump again to be sure – (new water pump, radiator, thermostat and thermo housing) • Replaced radio and all 4 speakers • Replaced heater core and upgraded blower motor, and wired switch myself • Replaced all four tires with 33X12.50 tires and 15X10 inch rims. • Replaced entire charging system (new alternator, new optima batter new starter solenoid, new positive terminal. • Added phone charging port on dash. • Replaced seats, center console. • Repainted interior with garage door floor paint. • Treated floors to stop or prevent rust with metal/fiberglass mix • Replaced wipers and wiper arms • Added grab bar and dash pad. • Replaced passenger door window glass and interior door handle• Rear diff seal replaced • New Bumper-etts in rear. • New Horn with new horn button. What it needs – • Multiple Body Mount Replacements in rear end - when you hit a bump you can sometimes hear the frame and body touch. In one of the pictures you can see I tried to create a temporary fix with rubber and adhesive. =/ *This problem does not in anyway make the vehicle un-drivable. I have had this issue with the Jeep since I purchased it 4yrs ago.*• New outside door handles both recently have broken, but both interior handles work. *Mirrors are mounted on the body, so as we rapidly approach "door's off season" this problem will fix itself. • Gas tank floater quit again, it had been replaced once, but now needs to be fixed/replaced again. Gas tank is small 11gal – should be upgraded, I just have not gotten around to it, like any CJ owner one is familiar with this problem, I currently refill with regular gas every 100 miles. *to us weathered CJ owners, I will assure you it will be very difficult to find a CJ with a working gas gauge, and if you have do find one, it will break shortly.* • Perhaps some cosmetic work on body exterior or diamond plate.
