1 9 2 6 F O R D M O D E L TS T R E E T R O D The street rod I have for sale represents the real meaning of rodding. This awesome machine was constructed from an original 1926 Ford Model T. This vehicle is 100% Ford steel with no fiberglass. The roof is even wood with the original style vinyl cover, the way it should be. The vehicle is titled as a 1926 Ford not a kit car or anything else. Now for a few of the modifications, its been stretched, chopped and altered in about every way known to man. The engine was replaced with a Chevrolet 350 that included an aluminum intake and 3 deuces. That not only gave the engine the fuel is needed but also gives the car the look it deserves. Also mounted to the engine, a set of Sanders zoomie pipes. At this point, you can only imagine how great this car sounds at idle or at full throttle. Behind the engine is a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts as smooth as the engine sounds. This transmission, I believe is what makes this car a true rod and also sets this car apart from the rest. There are not many rods today built with standard transmissions anymore. The idea of an automatic in a 1926 just doesn’t sound right to me though. Moving on back, the rear end is from Ford. It’s a nine-inch with all the goodies. I don’t think anyone is going to break it! As far as the rest of the vehicle, as you’ll see from the pictures the car is 100% complete with turn signals, horn, seat belts, lights, real glass, working locks, full gages, emergency brake, detachable steering wheel, and anything else you can think of including something your Lexus doesn’t offer or have, a fold out windshield. Condition: The exterior condition is in show type with only a few minor stone chips. The car is very clean and shines like a mirror. The glass is all clear and clean and has no imperfections. The chrome and stainless is just as it was when it was new. The interior is clean and neat and shows no real signs of use. Basically the car is clean and neat and ready for the next trophy.
