1988 Monte Carlo SS w/ T-Tops Dale Earnhart Signature I have a clean 1988 Monte SS (last year of G-Body) for sell. I mean CLEAN no rust on the car at all. Rare especially being in Michigan. Car originally from North Carolina I believe. Car has the 305 HO V8 Engine with 4-Barrel Carb. Mild Cam with stock trans (200r) I believe even though it says turbo trans underneath, also stock real axle 3:73 i believe but not a dual posi. Dual exhaust aimed down toward concrete, NO HEADERS BUT straight pipe to mufflers no C.Converter. Interior I would give an 8 out of 10 Exterior 8 out of 10 I DO HAVE THE HOOD ITS WRAPPED IN BLANKETS IN THE GARAGE PLUS ORIGINAL WHEELS AS WELL. T-Tops should be resealed semi leak, from washing the car nothing major. Car has been garaged since I bought it in 2009 also previous owner kept in heated garage as well. BAD Car isnt running i started to take apart motor to rebuild due to rod knock, but I haven't had time to stick with it consistantly. Trans fluid leaked out due to sitting lopsided on jackstands all winter. GOOD Before i parked it in Fall of 2010 the car did start without any problems, and shifted good, only thing was the rod knock. I have several people interested in car right now. When I got the car didnt have it a good week and people appraised it for over $7500. Several offers of $3500+ are on the table in non running condition so if your a mechanic with plenty of time you will be happy with her.
