Here for your consideration this GTO is in very good to excellent condition both inside and out.This car was restored as a "very nice" Driver in 2006 it has been driven minimally and stored inside since that time.Winner of several trophy's in local Pontiac and cruise in events it was also part of a Pontiac collection shown at the Motor Trend INTL Car Show in Orlando. Pontiac legend Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick has also signed the car personally. Overall as can be seen in the photos the car shows well, the exterior finish while shining nicely is and always was a "nice driver" finish and shows typical wear nicks and blemishes, it is not a perfect flat show car finish, it never was. An area at the rear window drivers side exhibited some rust through and has been repaired it does not leak. There is some checking which shows through the paint on the passenger quarter but shows no fault.Mechanically sound and well cared for the car needs nothing. Power comes from a non matching 1969 400 ci WT short block rebuilt in 2009 with full Ram Air system added.Correct and newly built (2011) Rochester Quadra jet feeds through the original intake.New Delco battery installed (2011)Many performance enhancements include roller rockers, 068 camshaft, and more...Exhaust exits via ceramic coated headers and flowmaster duals for that unmistakeable tone. Wheels are 15" Rally II's correctly finished.Tires appear to have virtually no wear.Front Power Disc brakes (factory) with PowerSlot rotors installed. The interior has been restoredSeats and upholstery are in their original shade of Parchment in excellent condition as are the carpet and headliner. Original style Pontiac floor mats are present.Dash is an overlay with fitted A/C outlets.Secret Audio installed with RF remote function.Bazooka "NOS Bottle" Subwoofer and Amp located in trunk. Falsely presented to me as an original "Judge" the PHS confirms this car as a 350 HP non Ram Air GTO only. A:Factory front disc brakes, drum rears Is it a posi? A: No it is an open rear as original Is NOS hooked up? A: No, that is a subwoofer that looks like a NOS bottle, it is part of the audio system. Is compressor locked up or just low on freon? A: I detailed and installed the AC compressor it has not been functional for many years, I have a hose and o-ring kit but it will need an entire service to work properly. Does heat work? A: yes, the heater is hooked up. Is there currently a power seat or standard? A: currently a manual seat is installed, the power seat base will be in the trunk, it is correct and functional-w- new belt. Is radio in glove box? A: No, the secret audio is mounted in the trunk on the package tray, and a control panel is installed in the ashtray location with a custom cover, all functions are also controllable by RF (radio frequency) remote. Do electric windows all function correctly? A: Yes, all windows work smoothly and correctly. How is glass? A: Glass is original and in very good condition for age, very clear tinted glass, some scratches are visible, but very few overall and very presentable. Does rpm hood gauge light up and function correctly? A: Yes, the tach is a new reproduction, and performs flawlessly How strong is motor since the beef up? A: Pretty much a stock build up on the motor with roller rockers for longevity, RA III camshaft is stock for the WT, the Q-jet was performance built and tuned and really works better than hoped for! all in all a very strong combination but it has not been dyno'd. Original RA III factory specd 366hp. Does tranny have a shift kit? A: Yes, the transmission was a complete overhaul also.
