Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1937 Dodge Brothers D-5 "humpback" Sedan. It is being sold with a clear title. This beautiful car comes with almost everything needed to put it together. It has a 1979 Plymouth Duster 340 CI engine with chrome headers built to stock specifications. Radiator has been reconditioned and gas tank has been cleaned. 904 Mopar transmission gone through with new seals and soft parts. Chrysler 8.25" rear end cleaned and inspected. New rear springs, Mustang II front end already welded in with disc brakes and rack and pinion steering. New and complete floor installed. Firewall cut out but not installed. Comes with all glass including the rollout windshield. The original front seat has been stripped down and is ready to re-cover. Rear seat is from a Buick Regal. Several large, matching upholstered panels for making door panels. 2 sets of bucket seats (pick one set). I have all the trim including window frames, chrome strips, headliner bows, grill shell, hood side panels, etc. Four good 15" wheels with Summit dog dish hubcaps and beauty rings (tires are just place holders). All major body work completed including suicide doors w/ hidden hinges, shaved drip rails, rear roll pan w/ frenched license plate holder. It does, however have a small dent in the center of the passenger door due to a working mishap. Body is primed and sealed except for hood and front fenders. Previous owner had body work done professionally at a cost of over $7000. Engine and transmission work also done professionally at a reported cost of $2000. We purchased the car about two years ago and because of illness and too many projects just never got much done. Engine starts and runs smooth with new AFB carb and Mopar electronic ignition. This will be a relatively easy completion for someone who has the time to put into it. All the new owner will have to do is finish light mechanicals, do the finish body work and painting, and fabricate and install the interior. Have several sets of headlights (none complete, would recommend aftermarket), and tail lights (tail lights are complete and usable). Absolutely no rust on this car which was a barn find by the previous owner in Belair, Ohio. Previous owner brought it to Pa. where he spent a very large investment over several years getting this car just the way he wanted it. He didn't have the time to complete the project however (much like our situation). We purchased it and brought it to Ga where it has been stored in our 10,000 sq ft garage on stands ever since. This car is a steal so don't miss out on the chance to own this beauty.
