Vehicle Detail

1974 MGB37,254 miles. Driven 7,054 miles in last 29 yearsI purchased this MGB from the new-car buyer in 1978. (I have my original car registration and title request). The car was sold in Ft. Smith, AR and has never been out of the state. No rustIt has always been garaged. Maintained by McLeod's British Cars in Little Rock, AR, a MGB specialist. It is clean inside and out and has had no collision repairs. Since 2007, I have spent over $3300 in repairs and upkeep as follows:Rebuilt carburetorsNew master brake cylinder and hosesNew convertible top with zipped windowNew alternatorNew fuel pumpNew ignition switchNew heater control valve and hosesNew Interstate battery with conversion to single batteryNew points and condenserNew steering rack bootsNew driveshaft U-JointsNew headlight switchNew fuse boxNew seat webbingNew map light(Receipts available)This is a very good daily driver or full-restoration candidate.Original radio with no added speaker holesSeats have no tears or major marks. Both original tonneau covers and bow are in good condition.Tire jack, wire wheel wrench and hammer are all original and in good condition.Spare tire is the ORIGINAL and has good tread.Glass and chrome are all clear.I have the original new car buyer's "Passport to Service" which shows dealer's stamp and delivery date (5/7/74). I also have my original title (5/2/78) and the MGB Handbook. The paint is the original paint and in fairly decent condition. There are no exposed spots other than a few door dings but it is streaky. A new paint job would give you a head-turner. The dash has one small tear and the passenger door rail has sun damage. A car in this condition and low mileage with a reliable and traceable history is a rarity. Any questions? Call 501-920-1841 or email me at jim.linsky@gmail.com. IF you have no feedback or negative feedback, please contact me first or your bid will be removed. The seller makes no warranty in connection with this sale. The car is offered "as is, where is". Buyer is responsible for thoroughly inspecting the car and for reaching a satisfactory conclusion as to the condition and value and to bid solely based on that information. A non-refundable $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auction's end. I will accept Paypal, wire transfer or certified funds for the deposit only. The balance is due within five days by cash or certified funds. Placing a bid on this auction constitutes acceptance of any terms or conditions in this description.
