Up for auction is my 1967 impala ss, car is real super sport as verified from the vin#. Car has a later model small block chevy in it not the original 327 it came with, i am assuming its a 350 but i dont know for sure, i just put on all new belts and hoses, u joints are new, new battery and has newer brakes as well, transmission is stock powerglide 2 speed automatic. It runs very good and smooth no odd noises or ticking sounds and shifts well also. Car does smoke a little when it first starts in the morning but doesnt smoke or burn oil after that. The body on the car is extremely solid and straight with only a small spot of rust behind both rear wheels, floors and trunk are very nice, car has been painted once in 1987 the original color blue and is faded and dull and needs to be painted again, there is a few small dents here and there but nothing that cant be fixed. Interior is nice, dash pad is perfect, does need a headliner and drivers seat has a rip in it. Interior seating and carpeting was redone in 1987 with a tasteful grey cloth (looks to have a purplish tint in the pics but i assure you it is grey and matches the carpet in the car) instead of the vinyl it had stock, door panels are original and again great shape. Chrome on the car is driver quality some great some not so great, but is all there.Roof had a vinyl top on it but was in bad shape, so vinyl was removed and the top sanded and is in black primer right now ready for new vinyl or finish sand for paint. All electrical and mechanical is in working order, lights, blinkers, wipers, heater, radio,dash lights, fuel guage, console lighting, speedo ect works great. Windows are excellent and in working order, needs windsheild its cracked. All in all this car is a nice driver, i drive it all over the place with no issues, and u wont find a better or easier car to restore , i am only the 3rd owner of the car and it is not a hacked up bondo bucket like most on ebay. I have alot of receipts from the car over the years, and i also have the owners manual and protecto plate that comes with it. It was sold new in California and spent the rest of its life in idaho and thats why its as clean as it is. This car is by no means perfect, but it still gets looks and is a good driver as it is. Check out the pics they are accurate as to the condition of the car. I just bought a boat and i have to sell this car to help pay for it, that is the only reason i am selling this car.
