1980 Fiat Spider OFFERED AT NO RESERVE HIGH BID GET THE CAR !!!!! Up for your consideration is beautiful 1980 Fiat Spider 2000 fuel injection with 20k original miles. It is very a clean pearl white with a dark chocolate interior and chocolate bonnet to cover the soft top , new black soft top and of coarse all the beautiful wood trim that make this car so special . Now for some of the details on this rare find. The car was sold new in Colorado Springs on 3/27/80 from Continental Motors Ltd. 405 W. Fillmore, Colorado Springs CO. 80907 dlr# 1684-5. The car was sold to Robert M. Blaich who lived in Pueblo, Colorado . The car was then sold to current seller who after having the car serviced at Fiat 3/12/81 with 15k miles then drove the car very rearly over the next few years. He had the car painted pearl white, the paint job was very good job you can not find a place on the car that shows the original color which was tan. After that the car was pulled into the garage and while pulling it forward he hit the oil pan and put a hole in the pan and at this point, the car was covered and never removed till 3/12/11 . The Fiat was removed 3/12/11 from the garage and was given a new lease on life. The following is a list of what has been done to this point to make the car road worthey. All repairs were done at Fiat service center in Denver . These repairs included heater valve,heater valve gasket,front brake hoses, calper kit ignition switch, oil pump pickup, fix oil pan, wiper blades, fuel pump, fuel filter, all brakes and lines, new head gasket, machining head and set valves, distributor and pick up, alternator wire, replace bulbs, high pressure hose, fuel injectors, and cold start, battery, timing belt, crankshaft seal, cam seal, doc idler bearing, bypass hose, lower hose, heater hose, injection hose, tires, shocks, starter, and other items as well and of coarse we have all the books and records and both keys . The long and short of it is that the car is alive and ready to put the top down and drive . The car is very clean and looks very nice . The car does not have any rust holes and has always been in Colorado. The car was rustproofed and some of the rust proofing is coming off on the under side not that bad and we did not want it to look like we were covering anything up . Condition of the car is as follows: the paint looks like new and DOES NOT LOOK REPAINTED, under the hood and trunk, door jams all look the same. The paint job was high dollar and you can tell , the best way to describe the color is off white with a light gold pearl , that being said there are no scraches or dents, but on the passenger front fender there is a small spot where the paint is cracking not rust , and on the rear of the car by the lower part of the top some paint is starting to lift a little not that bad other than that the car looks new . Now for the inside the seats look amazing, the carpet looks good as well, and like I mentioned the top is new . we have the new emblem that ia missing on the photos for the driver side .
