Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GORGEOUS LOOKING RESTORED 1967 FORD MUSTANG GT FASTBACK FACTORY S-CODE 390CI 4V CAR WITH A 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. BEAUTIFULLY CARED FOR AND METICULOUSLY KEPT. VERY SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. Factory Options: 1) Manual steering 2) Power DISC front brakes 3) Dual exhaust 4) Shelby stripe package 5) GT package (Fog lights, lower body stripe, gas cap, emblems, etc.) 6) Bucket seats w/floor shift (FOLDING REAR SEAT) 7) S-CODE 390ci 4V motor 8) 4 speed Manual Transmission 9) Remote Mirror 10) Stock 14" Styled Steel Wheels with pony caps and white letter radial tires 11) 3.25:1 rear axle ratio (Equa-lock differential) The car comes from a gentleman's large collection in Ohio. It had been lovingly restored during the late 1990s from what I was told, and still shows beautifully! Nicely kept in an indoor garage and only driven on spring and summer days. Lots of money was invested in the restoration and this is a factory S-CODE 390ci 4V car with factory 4 SPEED TRANNY. Vehicle had new bodywork/paint in ppg type base/clear coat. Interior was completely redone by professional upholstery shop. Most of the chrome is new/replaced. Motor/tranny/rear end were pulled and cleaned up with new parts replaced as needed. Wheels/tires were replaced. Exhaust and suspension components were replaced as needed. Braking system was completely overhauled. Overall a total of $30+K was spent on this car to make it into a very high end driver. Starts at the turn of the key and is extremely fun to drive! Interior is in EXCELLENT condition with very minor general wear here and there. Nothing to speak of as most items were replaced. Overall a nicely presentable high end driver quality interior! Under the hood lies the stock 390ci 4V motor which is 100% bone stock with virtually no modifications other than service parts replaced as needed and upgraded Shelby style finned aluminum valve covers and Cobra air cleaner, along with chrome export brace and monte carlo bar as you can see. Starts easily and sounds great. Great stock power overall and brakes stop VERY WELL. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble with a hint of play in the wheel. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without worries, just tune it the way you want and you're ready to go. I've driven it mostly around town here and there, and a few times on the highway on the way to a local cruise night or car show, never on any long trips. Very fun car! Underside on this Mustang is nice and SOLID but has not been completely detailed or painted to show quality as the restoration was designed to make the car a driver. Floors are very clean, as are the torque boxes and shock towers which show minimal wear. Trunk pan is nice and solid with some heavy coating on it. Frame appears to be in good shape with no rust or holes that I was able to spot. Overall a NICE underside on this car, but by no means show quality. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up BEAUTIFULLY with good luster for a high end driver (not perfect $20k show quality paint though). Some minor imperfections here and there from use as you would expect. Lower corners of doors have 2-3 tiny bubbles under paint. Motor could use a good tune-up as I'm not sure when the last time idle/timing etc were set and adjusted (runs well but has been sitting for most of the year). Steering wheel vibrates a bit at low rpm, quite common though. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A BEAUTIFUL CRUISER THAT IS VIRTUALLY TURN-KEY. HOP IN AND DRIVE IT WITH THE WINDOWS DOWN AND ENJOY THE WEATHER AND ADD YOUR PERSONAL TOUCHES TO IT AS YOU SEE FIT. VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A RESTORED 1967 FORD MUSTANG GT FASTBACK FACTORY S-CODE 390CI 4V CAR WITH A FACTORY 4 SPEED THAT IS IN SUPERB DRIVER CONDITION AND WON'T TAKE MUCH TO MAKE IT INVESTMENT QUALITY IN MY EYES!.
