These auctions cost money and I don't have time to start chasing you. Thank you and good luck. ***** UP FOR AUCTION IS A GREAT LOOKING CRUISER IN THIS 1963 CORVAIR SPYDER TURBO CONVERTIBLE WITH MATCHING NUMBERS AND 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND 89K ACTUAL MILES. VERY RARE AND SHARP CRUISER THAT WILL BE A LOT OF FUN FOR COLLECTOR OR ENTHUSIAST. The car comes from Pennsylvania. I've had it in NY for a bit over a year now and have had a lot of fun with it! The car was kept in dry storage for a long time until 2005-06 when it was taken out and gone through mechanically to put back on the road. I've done absolutely nothing but adjust the carburetors a bit and shine it up. It's an amazing little car. Interior is in EXCELLENT condition with minor general wear here and there. Dash has a few slight cracks. Some minor discoloration on the white upholstery, otherwise very clean. Convertible top is nice for a driver. Overall a nicely presentable driver quality interior! Under the hood lies a strong running, MATCHING NUMBERS turbocharged 150hp motor that is all stock with factory generator and all. Starts easily and sounds great . Good power overall and brakes stop WELL although pedal is spongy. Nice and solid throughout. Steering is nice and nimble. Good clutch and trasnsmission shifts good, just grinds a bit in 2nd. Very fun to drive and you can hop in and drive it right now without worries, just tune it the way you want and you're ready to go. I've driven it mostly around town here and there, and a few times on the highway on the way to a local cruise night or car show, never on any long trips. Underside has VERY CLEAN frame and NICE floors throughout. Just some minor surface rust from regular driving, otherwise very clean. Being an old car, it is NOT perfect by any means. Paint shines up NICELY with good luster for a fair/good driver (NOT a showcar of course). Some minor imperfections here and there from use as you would expect. Couple of tiny bubbles by rear wheel well molding on passenger side and one air bubble by top of front driver's side fender. Tranny grinds in 2nd gear. All seems to be working fine, with maybe a couple of bulbs needing replacement. That's about all I was able to notice from my inspection. I am sure there are other tiny details i've forgotten so please keep that in mind, this is NOT a brand new car obviously. OVERALL IT'S A GREAT LOOKING CRUISER THAT COULD EASILY BE A DAILY DRIVER AS IT IS. HOP IN AND DRIVE IT AND ENJOY THE WEATHER AND FINISH RESTORING IT AS YOU SEE FIT. VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF A CLEAN AND RELATIVELY RARE 1963 CORVAIR SPYDER TURBO 150HP CONVERTIBLE WITH 89K ACTUAL MILES ON THE ODOMETER!. Contact me at (917) 749-4302 cell or e-mail MBOTERASHV@AOL.COM. Auction may be stopped at any time.
