This 1969 Pontiac 400 convertible is a documented factory 400 Firebird by PHS automotive services, it was sold new by Charlie Kittle Pontiac in Memphis, Tennessee on December 10TH, 1968. It is a true rust free Tennessee Firebird with less than 100 K original actual miles. The Firebird was restored by the second owner 12 years ago, at that time the quarter panels replaced and had the exterior painted blue green. The black interior is 75% original with new carpet, lower carpet was added to the original door panels.The convertible top is new, new top pads, new top well and top motor installed, the top frame was completely repainted before installing the new top. The original black dash pad is perfect. The radio and ash tray are missing. The options from the factory are 400 4BBL engine YT code, turbo 400 transmission, Safe-T-Track rear, 400 Hood, dual horns, air conditioning, power steering, power disc brakes, power top, clock, console, deluxe seat belts, deluxe steering wheel, vanity visor mirror, am radio and trunk light. 4 ralley wheels, trim rings and center caps are included. The trunk mat and black top boot are new and included. The body is laser straight and rust free. Rear spoiler, 15 inch aluminum wheels, Offenhauser intake, Edelbrock carb, chrome air cleaner and Accel distributor with HEI Super coil have been added. The air conditioning compressor will be reintalled before new owner takes delivery. the floors and chassis are rust free originals, it still retains the original exhaust manifolds and correct dual exhaust.The original color was limelight green, the engine was replaced with a YF code 400 CI, The Firebird is very reliable and drives like a dream.
