1976 911 Targa The car is Iris Blue, has the 2.7 engine with 5 speed trans. I have owned the car for a little over 11 years and have performed numerous updates including SSI's and exhaust. I have not had any engine work completed other than plugs and valve lash, etc - asside from leaking a little oil, I have never had an issue. The paint is in decent shape - the biggest issue is the PO let someone test drive the car without latching the hood properly which resulted in a dog ear on the driver side of the hood. The car has been in storage for approximately 2 years. For the first year, the car was started and warmed up every month or so. A year or so ago, the car would not start, and I discovered a Gas leak under the tank where the fuel pump is located. I have had no time to try and repair the car, so the car is sold as is in non-running condition. Items that have been replaced are targa skin and headliner, targa drip rails, SSI's with exhaust and oil lines, CV drive shafts, 6 and 7 x 16 Fuchs (still have cookie cutters), knee pads, Turbo valve covers, tie rods, fuel pump, Koni shocks, sway bar and suspension bushings, etc - I have a binder with all the receipts. The PO replaced the seat covers and the steering rack. The dash is clean with no cracks. The car is showing wear and weathering since it has been in storage. The targa top that was replaced has deteriorated, as has the condition of the paint, window seals, tires, etc. It is currently stored in Hoover, AL just south of Birmingham. I have relocated to Atlanta, so i am unable to take additional pictures. Sold as is, void of warranty. A $500.00 deposit through paypal must be received within 24 hours of the close of this auction and the balance is due within 7 days of the close of the auction by either cashiers check or cash. Buyer is responsible for all shipping/transportation of vehicle.
