Was purchased from original owner with a mileage of 42550 miles. Driven sparingly (present odometer reading: 66717), mostly highway driving. Odometer needs minor repair to tripometer. Garage kept, this automobile has never been driven in snow. The vehicle was professionally repainted to its present color of Black Pearl in a California body shop in 1987 and was upgraded 15” 560 SL wheels and a 1987 front spoiler and a 1987 3rd trunk light. Thus the car has the presentation of a 560SL. The original interior color of the car, tobacco brown, is in its original well-maintained condition, and the convertible top is the original tobacco brown color top with some minor flaws. Tires are in good condition, as are the brakes. A/C is in excellent condition. The original AM-FM radio is a Becker radio and there is an original Becker tape deck mounted in the glove compartment. The original 14” spare tire is in the trunk, never used. You won’t be disappointed by this car. Like all older SLs, this one has the dings just aft of the hard top, where people have bumped the rear valance while taking off the hard top. The car has a new battery which was installed approximately 1 year ago. The car is accident-free. Owner is 65, now retired, and doesn’t drive any more.
