PRICED TO MOVE! Good build platform or a few quick fixes and rock the gas mileage. We have a 1989 Honda CRX for sale. The car has 220k on the body, and 70k on the engine. The crx passed emissions here in Rutherford County (Tennessee) with flying colors, and we get 34-42 miles a gallon depending on how much we get on it. The car was built to be a gas saver by the previous owner, but when we got her she didn't run right. We replaced the main relay, and bingo we have fuel! The car runs and drives good. The car: 1989 Honda CRX base model. 5 Speed transmission (no grinds or pop outs, and NEW clutch installed less than 5 months ago) D15b2 SOHC engine. -short ram intake -stock exhaust system flows out an aftermarket exhaust pipe for look and sound. Nice tone for a stock single cam. -blue ionized short shifter -red shift knob -personal steering wheel mounted to crx boss. -Civic seats (was put in by previous owner ) -Remote control am/fm cd player with fold down face. -Tint is in good shape -DPFI 2 injector gas saver engine. -Brakes feel good -Interior 5/10 (seats are not stock and it is a 22 year old car) Good solid blue interior. -Exterior 5/10 (there is a little rust and a spot to be repaired, but good bumpers, solid doors, fenders in good shape, lights are good (OEM tail lights are getting harder to find), -HONDA OPTION 14" UPGRADE RIMS - Black steel with ring and center caps in good shape. (Stock crx base came with 13" rims, and these were an optional upgrade). -A/C components in place. Add a belt and a recharge. We are not the original owners, and we bought this used from someone who traded for it. The car was originally blue from the factory. We got her like this, and rather than repaint red or stock color I am leaving that to the buyer. She does have the standard Honda rust/cancer on the rear panels, and damage to the drivers rear panel (can be patched/cosmetic ) it looks like it was punctured. Dings and such for a 20 year old car, but she runs and drives. The interior is all there, windows -lights - signals - radio - all works as it should. THERE IS NOT A SPARE OR JACK IN THE CAR. CAR NEEDS: *Oil change *Starter in the future (or just pull the engine for a good swap!) *Oil pan gasket and plug. ( The oil pan goes on ebay for 45 and the gaskets for 12 ) *Tires (The tires on it are mismatched due to selling the Yokohama AVS ES100's last week. The tires on the car are not balanced, and there is a vibration at 55 that smooths out at 65. There was no vibration issues prior to selling the Yokohama tires.) Paint looks cheaply done over stock color and weathered heavily. This little car runs and drives well. It does burn oil just like every other honda. The transmission shifts fine with no issues. The air control unit is damaged (this is normal with these old EF's). The heat works though. THE CAR IS IN DRIVING CONDITION, BUT I AM NOT A CERTIFIED MECHANIC. I JUST LIKE THE CARS.
