We are Black Smoke Customs, a licensed business employing ASE Certified Mechanics that specialize in Ford Powerstrokes, Dodge Cummins, an Chevrolet Duramax powered pick-ups. This a 1998 Ford Ranger with the 4.0 V-6 backed by an Automatic Transmission. It is equipped with Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, aftermarket CD player that was professionally installed with amp, and Alloy wheels. We were asked to inspect it and repair anything we deemed necessary, all it required was a new battery and a sparkplug an sparkplug wire and oil change. It ended up getting a new Radiator an Serpentine belt as well since the truck slid off of the Jack and hit the radiator causing it to crack and hitting the belt causing it to get a damaged spot on it. Tires are all in excellent condition, interior is good, great for it's age, with the only discrepancy being the tear in the drivers seat which we will sew up before the auction is over. Dash and carpet are all in good condition, never been smoked in. It does have some body damage that you can see in the pictures, No Cancer an barely any surface none of it affects the operation of the vehicle. Brakes, engine and drivetrain are all in good to excellent condition, leaks no fluids and use's none either. The truck has just under 61000 miles and has always been kept in excellent mechanical condition. The owner used it while he was in College and now has moved up to bigger an better. It would make anyone a great first car or commuter pick-up. You would be hard pressed to find another truck of this age in this good of condition with this few miles.
