This 2001 Cadillac Seville is in great condition, both inside and out, but does have some issues. Mechanically, the car drives great, shifts smooth, great power, handles and drives like a dream. The paint is still in great shape, with very little wear. Note that the driver side fender edge (over the driver side signal light) is slightly bent inward, pictured below. Honestly, when I purchased the car, I didn't notice it until almost 2 wks later. I recently put 4 brand new Michelin HydroEdge tires on (about 2 months ago), had the car aligned, and also had both Crank Position Sensors replaced. The A/C blows cold. Please see the bullet points below for problem areas. The interior is very clean, however the previous owner apparently smoked, so there are a few burn marks (note the pictures below of the driver side winshield molding, small burn on driver side seat bottom, also the passenger side headliner). Otherwise the seats show very little wear. Everything in the interior works, with the exception of what is listed in the bullets below. I believe the pictures speak for themselves. Now here are the areas where this car needs some TLC: Service Engine Soon comes on showing code P0741 and P1860 which are related to the torque converter / torque converter solenoid). I have owned 3 of 4 Cadillacs that ultimately threw this code up. I continued driving as-is and never had any problems. I will warn you, this is a very costly repair, especially if you take it to a dealer (dealer quotes run about $2500-3500 depending on if you want to do a rebuild or a replace). I would advise researching the codes as some people have claimed that they fixed the problem with out major cost, well others went the remove / replace route. Driver Side Seat Lumbar Support does not work. Driver & Passenger Side Front Heated Seat does not work. Windows can only be rolled down from the driver side master switch. Otherwise the 2 passenger side switches will only roll the window up, but not down. I have 2 new rear switches on order, due this week that are included in the price to fix the problem. The car is sold AS-IS, to the best of knowledge I have listed every problem that I have found. The car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
