Purchased from estate of original San Francisco owner. 53,500 original miles. Out of 15 year garage storage. Checked out mechanically and is in very good running and driving condition. Brakes, transmission, and motor working fine. Compression within normal range for all cylinders. Replaced the master cylinder, bled brakes and now a firm pedal, brake cylinders, linings, drums all fine. Plenty of lining left. Power Steering, Manual Brakes, 318 engine, console automatic shift. AM radio works, needs replacement antenna. Glass excellent, clear, no chips or wind and dust damage. Manual windows. Black vinyl interior excellent except for one tear on driver's seat back. Always a San Francisco, CA, car. Very solid car. Some surface rust in trunk floor and on floor area near gas pedal. Rest of floors show original gold paint. Same for sills, quarter panels, bottoms of fenders--no rust. Solid car mechanically ready to go, but needs body work. As owner became aged and driving skills declined, exterior looks as if the owner parked and drove by feel. Many dings, many dents. Looks like a beater, but then checking out the interior condition, pedal wear, engine compression, brakes and the condition of the undercarriage, I am quite certain this is a low mileage car, and probably not 153,500 miles.
