Vehicle Detail
1947 Dodge Convertible for Sale: This is a 99% complete vehicle. The car is from the South. It last ran in the 1960's. The engine ran fine 4 yrs ago. Car was originally purchased in Fort Collins, Colorado and was shipped from Detroit on August 4, 1947 - I have a copy of the Factory Build Card obtained from DaimlerChrysler. Original colors: Top: Black Body: Panama Sand. Original interior: Comb. Broadcloth & Red Leather. Car includes seat frames which have rust, I believe all of interior decorative hardware including ash trays, etc, Radio. Some of mechanical including generator, brake pedals and others are in boxes which are marked fairly well. Also, I have an original complete set of pre-bent brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinder, mechanics manual, owners manual. The motors to raise the top are included but the long screws are damage. Body Condition: The panels have some rust through on lower parts. Floor pans are largely rusted. The frame is amazingly dry and solid. The rockers are in poor condition. The glass has damage. I will be happy to respond to all questions via email. This car is available for pick-up in Colonie NY which is just North of Albany, NY. I will help in the pick-up as much as possible. Ron Allen On Jun-10-11 at 09:15:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Additional Information on this Car: Note: The floor boards and trunk floor have decay and missing metal due to decay. Also, this is the correct engine for this car, but does not match the number on the build card. It was take from a well running sedan about 5 years ago. If you have any specific questions about this vehicle, please email me before bidding. Thank-you, Ron Allen
