1983 CB1000C - New rubber; stock exhaust, paint and chrome still nice. Bike has 36,000 well cared for miles. A bad exhaust valve necessitated a top end rebuild which was completed this past winter. All work was performed by a factory certified dealer mechanic. Excellent for someone that wants a vintage ride with some style and muscle. Aftermarket King and Queen seat, Hondaline Trunk The 1000C is the last year (and only one with 1000cc) of Honda's 1st foray into the cruiser market. The CB900c's and even more so the one year only CB1000c's have gained considerable status as collectibles. There a couple great websites for the bikes and a buyer would be very unlikely to lose money if the bike is kept in good condition. This bike has a 10 speed trans, air shocks front and rear and was the top of the line bike in it's day. The bike overall is in nice shape. Two flaws are small repaired areas on the rear edge of the bottom of the gas tank (see pic) and the passenger grab bar has been cut to allow clearance for the aftermarket seat. Note: I will assist with shipping on this end. If the bike has to be crated and delivered to an airport or shipping terminal I will do so for a reasonable fee.
