---NO RESERVE AUCTION--- Up for auction is a BEAUTIFUL 1988 Chevy Silverado 3500 Extended Cab 2wd Pickup truck with its ORIGINAL 42K MILES ON IT!! This truck has been well maintained by its original owners, an elderly couple, but due to a death in the family is no longer needed. It was set up and used to pull a small camper to the lake every once in a while, but will certainly pull anything you put behind it! This one ton is equipped with the very reliable 7.4 Liter v8 454 cu in motor and automatic transmission which run as good as they did the day it was purchased. As seen in the pictures, the truck has absolutely no rust on the body.......even where you'd expect to see it starting to appear such as the bottom of the doors or lower fenders/quarter panels.........THIS TRUCK IS SOLID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The engine and firewall are clean enough to eat off of, and it runs and drives down the road just as if it was new, with NO odd noises, leaks, etc. Prior to putting it up for auction, the truck was professionally inspected, and we wanted to make sure that the seller would be comfortable driving this across the U.S. if necessary, so the following things were installed: New battery, new alternator & fresh A/C charge which is ICE COLD!! Interior is also very beautiful, and looks very similar to the day it was driven off of the dealership. As seen in the pictures, it does have electric doors/windows, a/c, cruise, power brake assembly, towing package, camper/generator outlets mounted on back, topper, and TIRES ARE NEARLY NEW!! Title to the truck is clear, and we will work with buyers that wish to have this vehicle shipped to them. This would be an excellent truck for someone that intends to do some pulling, and we'd love to see it go to someone that will take care of it...........perhaps even use it to take their camper to the lake every once in awhile! Truck does have some minor scratches and dings in it, so please understand that it is a 1988 and has its original paint! It seems that the electric windows may have a bad switch, because every once in a while they stop working.....but only for a few seconds. I have ordered a new switch, and will be happy to send that along with the truck. There are however NO CHIPS OR CRACKS in the glass of this truck. There may be a small exhaust leak, but because it is barely noticeable, I have been unable to find it. The last item that we would like to make you aware of is the headliner, as it is starting to sag slightly (1-2 inches in some spots), and if someone were very picky, they may want to repair it properly. These are all small things expected on an older truck which normally may not need attention anyway, but we would like no surprises for the buyer.
