Vehicle Detail

1988 BMW M3 Vin# WBSAK0305J2195313 Miles 80,XXX miles Color: Lachs/Black PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO VIEW AN ADDITIONAL 65 PICTURES OF THE CAR HERE: http://azmg.smugmug.com/Cars/E30M3/13479049_zGUUG#1026979065_5wQPU I purchased this car in April 2008 and from the time I purchased it, it has undergone a no expense spared restoration, and I do mean “no expense”! As stated the car is an increasingly rare1988 E30 M3 and was a no accident one owner car before I acquired it. From the original pictures I knew the paint was tired so it all started there. If you're an enthusiast you know one thing often leads to another and now I have a car with a professionally rebuilt S14, new clutch, new suspension, new interior (front/back seats have new leather), new wheels, well in short, new everything. I am a perfectionist and will not undertake any automotive endeavor without doing it correctly. MECHANICAL: To address any potential concerns as to the rebuilt motor, the rebuild was undertaken after an overheating issue showed that minute metal shavings had made their way into the motor after an intake manifold refinishing went wrong. All aspects of the motor were addressed during the rebuild to include but not limited to cams, crank, cylinders, oil pump, pan, radiator, all sensors, injectors, oem replacment fluid containers, right down to throttle body and manifold refinishing. Also addressed during the engine build was the fitting of a new steering rack, all suspension bushings and color matched sparco strut tower bar. EXTERIOR: The exterior condition is equal to the mechanical and the car was restored by the folks at UACC in the Bay area and all factory parts were used in the process. The car was refinished in its original livery and I added a factory evo carbon splitter, Schnitzer carbon mirrors and Ma-Shaw rear wing. Factory mirrors and rear spoiler are included and have also been refinished. SUSPENSION/WHEELS: The car sits on GC suspension utilizing Koni adjustable shocks and H&R springs and camber plates in the front for adjustability. The car rides like an M3 should. The wheels are the correct offset BBS 212’s with new tires. INTERIOR: The interior was in better than average condition with a perfect dash, nice carpets and headliner. The seats were starting to show their age so I decided to have front and back seats recovered with the new style BMW leather (softer) and also replaced the ebrake handle and seat belt receivers with new parts. If any inspections is necessary to insure your comfort with the car contact me to make arrangements prior to bidding and prior to the end of the auction as I will not be entertaining any month-long diligence sessions. This car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
