Beautiful recent total cosmetic restoration. One of less than 1,000 hand built convertibles. This car was purchased in 1984 in North Hollywood, and in my possession, garaged in Long Beach, California until 1995. I moved to Raleigh, North Carolina at that time and had it shipped it to my residence, where it has remained garaged. I continue to drive it for pleasure and it has less than 5,000 miles since completion. The restoration work was completed in 2008. Complete restoration includes:New engine rebuilt by Mercedes factory trained mechanic with all new German only parts.Car stripped to bare metal and was repainted 2008.
