For your consideration is a 1981 Chevy Luv with the Isuzu diesel engine. The truck has power steering , power brakes , and a 5-speed manual transmission. It runs and drives well , and has had several new parts installed within the last 200 mi. New water pump, upper and lower hoses, alternator, fuel pump, u-joints , and timing belt. This truck was run on biodiesel by it's previous owner , and I have the large fuel filter that was used and will send it along to the new owner. The glow start system is in working conditon . Most everything seems to work , heater is hot , lights and signals work also. The original radio will go with the truck , and the cd player in the dash works , but I cannot get the cd out of it.I took this truck in on trade , and can only tell you what I know about it. all the new parts were installed after I recieved the truck , to make sure it was dependable. If you look at the front of this truck you will notice it has a tow harness to be towed behind a camper . The body is very solid on the truck , there are a few bubbles here and there , but please remember this truck is 30 years old. The paint looks good , but was obviously done by a low budget shop or beginner. The bed looks good under the plastic liner. This is not a show truck , but will make someone a great little fuel saver / work truck. I advise anyone interested to come by and give it a look over , and feel free to ask any questions prior to the end of the auction , the reserve is very low , but please be prepared to pay for what you bid on. I am not interested in trading . The only things I can fault this truck with is It has no headliner The oil pressure guage does not work , the low oil pressure light does. it goes off shortly after starting as it should The odometer is not working , the speedo is working, stuck at 189xxx Feel free to call with any questions (812) 631-4820 Thank you for looking
