Up for sale is a 1971 FIAT ABARTH OTR 1000 BERLINETTA PROJECT. This vehicle began life as a 1971 FIAT Racer with a specialized removable "fastback" hardtop...The project then took a dramatic turn when the owner decided to replicate an uber rare Abarth OTR 1000 Berlinetta. The body has been extensively gone through with new sheet metal in the floors, battery box, and other "problem" areas unique to these cars. The hardtop was then welded to the car to make it permanent. The quality of the metalwork and welding is superb... The car is bone straight in colored primer and awaits a topcoat. Many drivetrain options are available, including 850, 124, VW, and Mazda Rotary. Parts included are shown in the pictures. The vehicle will be rolling before pickup occurs.
