Vehicle Detail
This is my 1966 Stang that I received for my 16th birthday present back in 1990. It was hit in the rear end when my dad bought it out of Carlise, PA. He had it restored with new back quarter panels and etc. Has a reconstructed title. It is coded springtime or summertime yellow (can't remember which one), and I had to keep it that color to make him happy! When I first got the car, it only had 24,000 miles on it, and after a year of me driving it, he saw how many miles were adding up, so then I got an everyday car! This car has been in the garage for the past 5 years. I started it up here and there, took a little spin and put it right back away. I just don't want it rotten away...its been a good running car for me. There is rust starting on the lower part corner of the doors, and I tried taking pics of. The interior is in great shape for the year, just needs alittle cleaning from sitting. The convertible cover has alittle slice in it from me...not putting the foam in and the metal from the top put a small tear in it. He put a new top on it, and it is in great shape it is power. No tears in it. The window is alittle wore from putting top up and down..but overall in pretty good shape. We put a mustang AM/FMcassette radio in it when I got it, but over the years, just the cassette works now. Never looked into it to see if its the radio or maybe a wire why it don't work. It has a damp rear main seal. The guys noticed this when I put it up on the lift to get pics of the frame. The frame has No holes. I'm trying to describe everything as best as I can. Theres a small dent beside the drivers side trumpet in the rear corner. Its not that noticeable, unless your looking for it. There are some little flaws here and there, but mostly just needs a good cleaning and tune up. This car never let me down all the years I've had it. So to sum it all up...I just don't drive it anymore, and I would enjoy someone else getting some use out of it as much as I did.
