1967 MUSTANG GTA 390 "S CODE" This Mustang is one of the first S Code Mustangs to be built. As indicated on the Marti Report, this Mustang was built in December 1966 as a 1967 model. The Mustang is equipped with a 390 ci engine, C6 three speed automatic transmission, GT equipment group (GT stripes, power disc brakes, tachometer, 3.00 axle ratio). No power steering and no air conditioning. GT"A"- A is for automatic. The engine was rebuilt in 2008 and has approximately 1500 miles on it since rebuild. The engine was rebuilt, balanced and blue printed by FE Specilaties in Sacramento, CA. Everything on the engine was rebuilt or replaced. The engine currently has an aluminum Shelby GT500 intake manifold (original intake manifold goes with the sale of the car) as well has custom made headers (original exhaust manifolds also go with the sale of the car). The engine bay was restored and profesionally repainted. Every nut and bolt under the hood was replaced. No rust on the car. The front floorpans were replaced, as all Mustangs at one point or another need done. Two minor paint blemishes on the hood and the driver's side door (see photos). Chrome and windows in great shape. Rear quarter windows do not roll down and are in need of new cranks. The interior was completely restored including, new dashpad, new umpholstery,new carpet, new door panels and hardware (window cranks, door handles). All panels were removed, sandblasted and repainted. The doors and dash were also repainted. Other items replaced include new tires, new shocks, new leaf springs, new tierods. This is an opportunity to own a rare Mustang. The Marti Reports states this is one of 4,403 1967 Mustangs ever built with this engine/transmission combo. This Mustang shows exceptionally well as I have won several car shows with it. I have all receipts and they will be included with the sale. Please don't hesitate to ask questions.
