Vehicle Detail

This is your once in a lifetime chance to own a gangster-ass old school Mercedes W123 turbo diesel! It's a 1985 300D, in original Ivory paint with peanut butter guts. 305,000 miles on this beast, and still runs strong! I picked this up a few months ago from an old Asian guy who's owned it since the late 80's. Recently serviced, with new shocks/springs at all 4 corners, new front lower balljoints, new front upper control arms, oil/air/trans filters, and all new light bulbs. The headlights and corners are brand new European market pieces, with integrated fog lights. Suspension is lowered 1.5" in the rear and 2" in the front, and it's sitting on 15" BBS knockoff wheels with 215/60 tires that have 50% tread left. I recently replaced the valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, filter housing gasket, turbo drain o-rings, and a few other o-rings and gaskets, and there ARE NO CURRENT OIL LEAKS ON THE CAR - dry pavement after she's been parked overnite. While the engine was apart, I rebuilt the turbo (Garrett T3) and re-welded the downpipe, as well as replaced all the exhaust hangers (known to wear out on these cars). It's currently running stock boost level, with a custom aftermarket intake/oil catch can system. The car just had a new vacuum pump installed, but one of the door lock actuators is leaking so you don't have the 'power' door lock function. The A/C is functional, however it needs to be charged - I haven't charged it since I rebuilt the system, as it's been converted to R134a from R12, and I don't have a set of 134 gauges. It's got a functioning power sunroof, and all 4 power windows work perfectly. It's got an aftermarket JVC head unit with front AUX input (I've still got the original Becker head unit as well), and 4 generic replacement speakers that are about a month old. It's not going to blow the trunk offa that hoe, but it's enough to get your tunes from your iPod to your ears whilst cruisin' down the street. The power antenna has been removed, and there isn't an antenna installed currently. The paint is fresh, and it's not the best paintjob out there, but from 5 feet it looks badass (I could've spent more time doing prep work -the paint is great, the prep is lacking). There are a few miscellaneous dents on it, but nothing too unsightly. The interior isn't perfect, but it's in damn good shape for being 26 years old. Last weekend I shampooed all the carpet and scrubbed the crap out of the interior - took me about 5 hours, 4 cans of TuffStuff, three containers of ArmorAll cleaning wipes, and a full bottle of leather conditioner, but she's damn near as clean as the day she rolled off of the showroom floor...mostly. Most of these photos were taken the second weekend of May, and a few days after the photos were taken I had the windows tinted (as dark as legal in Texas) and smoked the taillights. Since then, the car has been driven to work a handful of times, and other than that pretty much sits in my driveway looking all badass and such. I included a few pics of the smoked taillights and tint. I've got all of the original owner's booklets, the original Mercedes 'dog tag' included with new vehicle purchase, and an extra sets of wheels - one set of 5 stock 14" Bundt wheels with brand new tires. I'll also, for a limited time, include a stick with the car. What's the stick for, you ask? To beat off all the bitches that are going to be swarming you when you pull up at the spot in this beast. I'm located on the northside of Houston, Texas. Vehicle is sold as-is, with no warranty expressed or implied. What you see is what you get. Buyer must arrange for delivery. I do own a truck and a trailer, so for a fee I would be willing to transport the vehicle to you. On Jun-04-11 at 14:05:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Forgot to mention that the vehicle has a brand new battery, brand new alternator, and brand new throttle bushing as of 5/25/11.
