UPDATES AT BOTTOM I have decided to sell my 1968 Dodge Charger. I have had this car for several years and it is nearly finished. I have been so busy lately I know I can't complete it. I have run out of time and I know I'll never get it done. I really hope this goes to a nice home. I would rather see it finished at a show instead of rotting in my garage. Exterior : The body was stripped. The very small amount of rust was repaired in the lower rear quarters and trunk center section. The car was epoxy primered and painted the original PP1 red color. This is a base / clear paint job which is much glossier than the original single stage. A R/T stripe was added but this is NOT a R/T. A new black vinyl top is included, but has not been installed. A new gas tank has been installed. The grille is in near mint condition. All the trim comes with the car. Drivetrain : The numbers matching 383 was rebuilt to near stock specs. It is painted the factory color and retains the original exhaust manifolds to maintain the stock appearance. The carb has been changed, but once the air cleaner is installed you can hardly see it. A TTI exhaust system replaces the factory stuff. The TTI tips look awesome, but are not installed yet. The original 727 automatic transmission was rebuilt with a slightly higher stall converter. The 8 3/4 differential was rebuilt and houses 3.23 gears. Interior : Much of the original interior is in great shape. New parts were purchased whee needed The door panels and upper pads are in good shape. The rear seat is still looking good. A new set of Legendary covers are included for the front. A new headliner is also included, but not installed. This is a bucket seat, floor shift console car. A new carpet is included as well. Suspension : The front end has been redone and a disc brake conversion has been performed. This is a complete car. Everything is there to finish it. The center section of the trunk has been replaced, but the trunk is not finished. UPDATE : This vehicle comes with a clean clear title. All the glass is included. The hood is included. Everthing is here to finish the car. Vin # added XP29G8B355*** I transferred the title today. The buyer will get a clean clear Texas title for this car. New parts not listed yet: NEW front windshield, new weatherstrip, new TTI factory style exhaust tips. New rear brake shoes, new wheel cylinders, new shocks, new carpet kit for console, new polished Cragar rims with caps and tires, new cat whiskers.
