Up for sale is my 2005 Chevy Cobalt 2.2 ecotec 5speed MANUAL. Relisted due to non paying buyer. The car has a drifter 2 body kit on it which has some paint chips and some paint cracks, fiberglass is in good shape. aftermarket short throw shifter, custom made aluminum throttle body spacer, K&N filter, aftermarket muffler. I also have a header for it unfortantly once we got around to installing it it turns out the company we ordered it from sent the wrong header (its the 2.4 ecotec style) how ever you can weld a new flange on it ($60) to make it work on a 2.2. The body is in good shape with a minor dent in the center of the hood about the size of a golf ball. interior is in over all good shape minor stains and normal wear and tear. This car had a new motor and transmission assembly installed in it after the factory engine overheated and warped the head. last summer the head had a mircoscopic crack in it so the head was replaced. Now car doesnt start. It cranks good but doesnt want to start up, unsure what the cause is. could be a bad coil pack or a stuck injector. how ever it is a good car and a great project for anyone looking to build a sport compact, how ever I work to much to mess with it any more along with all my other projects. Included in the sale is a Greddy Emanage system, a spare 5 speed transmission (factory transmission) spare starter, spare oil pan, aftermarket stereo install kit, and many other misc factory parts worth over 1000.00 easily. I also have a set of racing seats I bought for it but never installed that I can include in auction upon request for addition amount. I really hate to see this car go exspecially when spare engines sell all day long for only 500.00 but unfortantly I dont have the time off work to mess with it anymore and its just taking up garage space.
